  1. Thanks for the input. My v5c must state my current otherwise I wouldn't have got this claim letter. Also I have 24/4 video recording on my car when it is parked. I can always check if a ticket was placed on my windscreen, but I doubt it. I'll keep an eye out for any letters. Best regards.
  2. The answers to the questions: 1 Date of the infringement: 08/03 2024 2 Date on the NTK notice to keeper. 12/04/2024 3 Date received only received keeper liability notice. 4 Does the NTK mention schedule 4 of The Protections of Freedoms Act 2012? [Y/N?] Yes 5 Is there any photographic evidence of the event? No but I didn't receive the initial PCN. 6 Have you appealed? No 7 Who is the parking company? Parking control management (UK) ltd 8. Where exactly [carpark name and town] Royal leisure park, London W3. For either option, does it say which appeals body they operate under. IAS
  3. Hi everyone, appreciate your help in this. Today (18/04/2024) I received a "Parking charge - Keeper liability notice for Royale Leisure Park - W3" stating that I "parked without clearly displaying a valid PCM UK Ltd permit. The car was parked on the 8th of March 2024 at the car park for Park Royal Leisure Park in London. The letter stated that a notice to keep was sent 28 days ago, but I have not received any charge letter or ticket. I don't know what permit they are talking about. The leisure park does not have tickets, it has free parking for 5 hours- this is clearly stated on their website. Furthermore, I think the Parking Charge is invalid because, on March 8th, I was a customer at Royale Leisure Park, where I attended to watch a movie at the Odeon Cinema. I can prove my purchase of the ticket. The Royal Leisure Park has free parking for 5 hours as stated on their website (see attached screenshot), so they should not have given me the charge in the first place. Should I contact them to state that I should not have been given a charge? I'm concerned about the charge rising if I don't contact them. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you. parking rules park royal.pdf 2024-04-12 PCM NTK event 2024-03-08.pdf
  4. I would to add an update. Just when I thought that my snotty letter had worked I received a letter from Trace today after no letters since Jan/Feb. The funny thing is Trace were chasing me first then the case was passed to BW Legal and now it has been passed back to Trace. It's the standard "pay us now and don't ignore this letter". Any advice or guidance will be appreciated. Thank you. Trace letter.pdf
  5. Yes by debit but they can't find the record on the statement. I'm wondering if there was an error and the money wasn't taken.
  6. 1. Reg number was entered at time of payment. 2. Unfortunately, the receipt was lost. 3. Sorry, fine is my laymen term. It's a Parking Charge Notice. They didn't think they needed to keep the receipt once the barrier let them out.
  7. My in-laws attended a funeral ceremony in Hilton double tree hotel in Ealing on 29/5/23 and parked their car in the hotel car park. The barrier opened and did not provide them with a ticket. As they both don’t speak English, their daughters (who arrived separately) asked the hotel receptionist if they needed to pay and were told that they can either pay at reception or pay at the machine on exit. They decided to pay at the machine and the car park barrier opened automatically when their car approached it so they left. A parking fine letter was sent to their address and they are not sure as to why, since they paid at the machine and the barrier allowed the car to leave normally. I asked them to check their account, and can't find the actual payment leaving their account, but in any case, the barrier allowed them to leave the car park normally. I have asked them NOT to reply to the fine letter until I receive advice. Your help is appreciated. Thank you. PCN hilton.pdf
  8. Perhaps deliveries/ post office etc have exemptions... not sure but the rules here, the only sure thing is that Ealing council want to screw me (and you) out of our hard-earned money.
  9. Thanks for your input. I cant see any sign that specifically states that it operates 24/7 however there are no restriction times either so it can be inferred that the restrictions are 24/7.
  10. This is the google maps link: Google Maps WWW.GOOGLE.COM Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.
  11. I received a PCN from Ealing Council today (27/04/2023). The letter is dated 26/04/2023. The alleged infringement was on 10th of April. I have been given a fine of £130 for "traffic contravention 52JM - failing to comply with a prohibition on certain types of vehicle". The car was not driven by myself, and in any case, the person driving was delivering urgent antibiotics to a disabled elderly man. I can get a copy of the prescription as proof. I have gone to google maps and there is a little sign at the start of the road that only allows permit holders onto the road 24/7. Seems like a typical council money-making scam. Is it worth appealing or should I cut my losses and just pay?

  13. I have an update!! I received the following letter today following the snotty letter. I must say, it feels that the tone is more amicable, however, they are still demanding payment. Just wondering how I should respond. Thanks in advance. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Dear Mr Hamz We write in reference to the above matter and your letter received 10 January 2023. It is the overriding objective of the courts for parties to settle matters amicably without the need for a formal hearing. This includes raising any disputes and concerns with either party, prior to the issue of a county court claim, to ensure court time is not wasted and additional costs are not incurred unnecessarily. If you believe you are not liable for this matter, please provide further evidence supporting your claim. Otherwise, the balance remains due and owing. Should you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to contact us on 01134870432. BW Legal

We may engage with the IAS Non-Standard Appeals Service at our discretion should a dispute arise over this charge in the future.
