Just a quick update, I called to agree mediation today which has been accepted on my part however Moriarty hadnt called and accepted on their side, today was the last day for this. Still no documents received as requested in my defence!!

I mean they had 28 days from 19th December to respond to my CPR, if I Don’t receive a response and answer not enough information to make an informed decision! What then happens?

Hi All Happy New Year I have now received a email saying both parties have agreed to a mediation phone call which they have made for 31/1, I am required to call prior to 16/01 to confirm I would like to proceed ? Currently no other response or any information received from moriarty as requested but still time

I don’t think accountability comes into it, let’s just think about all the hours and advice available and from my experience quicker than any solicitor, almost immediate response and advice on tap is something you cannot put a price too. if everyone gave what was affordable in relation to what advice was given the site should not be asking for financial help. I really hope the donations pay what’s needed or lots of people will be left struggling. Ask yourself would you do the same for no return, please donate if you can

Good Luck Gigglemal, looks like we are at a similar stage, just my clocks a few days ahead of yours, I gave myself some extra work putting the comments in the defence box but the courts helped which I wasn’t expecting to be honest. Have a good Christmas.

This is my reply, Phew Good afternoon I can confirm that your latest emailed defence has been filed and replaces the incomplete defence that was filed on line. The court will await a reply from the Claimant.

Thanks Andyorch, I have just spoken to CC again and they said to send a email requesting clarification that my defence has been accepted and they should respond today!! Fingers crossed sounds like my first email was accepted as I mentioned 'Defence to follow' in section 3 first. Keep you posted

Do they not have to provide me with the information requested within the 30 days I have requested as that is due 28 Dec??

Its the N180 that has the information on it, the mediation sheet is just 2 tick boxes?

It says serve copies on all other parties

Also as part of the mediation form it asks for phone and email which I am reluctant to give? I really don't want this information with Moriarty

OK great will say yes to mediation on the hard copy and wait to send back. The lady told me this morning to email my defence before 4pm today and she would send the email to the relevant person to enter it on the system, I think they may have given me 1 chance only and when I tried to correct the mistake they ask for the N244!!! Im not sure now, I cant miss this friday deadline either way, I will call again tomorrow morning and ask. the second point on mediation mentions ' I can confirm that I have enough information about the claim, to allow me to enter into negotiations@ I tick no as it contradicts my defence if I tick yes?
