  2. Hi I have a Lloyds current account, with no overdraft facility and I keep noticing £1 going missing, almost everyday, I haven't a clue where this goes or what its for as nothing shows up on my statement? Also noticed the same happening with my Halifax account (£300 overdraft) Does anyone have any clue? Experience? I will ring them but thought I'd ask on here before I make a wally of myself on the phone!! Thanks in advance x
  3. Name of the Claimant ? MKDP LLP Date of issue – top right hand corner of the claim form – this in order to establish the time line you need to adhere to. 10 MARCH 2014 Date of issue 10 + 5 days for service = 15th + 14 days to acknowledge = 30th + 14 days to submit defence = 13/04/2014 What is the claim for – the reason they have issued the claim? The claimant claims the sum of 645.59 being monies due from the Defendant to the claimant under a regulated agreement originally between the defendant and HSBC Bank Plc. The defendants account number was ********* and was assigned to the claimant on 08/12/2011, notice of this has been provided to the defendant. The defendant has failed to make payments in accordance with the terms of the agreement and a default notice has been served pursuant to the Consumer Credit Act 1974. The claimant has complied, as far as is necessary with the pre-action conduct practice direction. What is the value of the claim? 645.59 Is the claim for a current or credit/loan account or mobile phone account? Unsure When did you enter into the original agreement before or after 2007? Unsure but before I believe. Has the claim been issued by the original creditor or was the account assigned and it is the Debt purchaser who has issued the claim. Debt purchaser. Were you aware the account had been assigned – did you receive a Notice of Assignment? Not that I am aware of. Did you receive a Default Notice from the original creditor? No, I moved house 4 years ago. Have you been receiving statutory notices headed “Notice of Default sums” – at least once a year ? No, they may have gone to old address but mail has not been forwarded. Why did you cease payments:- I am not sure if this was charges on a current account or a credit card. I can't remember if I even had a credit card with them. Was there a dispute with the original creditor that remains unresolved? I attempted to re-claim unfair charges and was unsuccessful on my first attempt . Did you communicate any financial problems to the original creditor and make any attempt to enter into a debt management plan? I rang them to argue my case but was ignored. I hope I have answered the questions right Thankyou again for assisting me xxx
  4. Thankyou I will get on with answering those questions, please bear with me as have a 14 week old baby demanding attention Thanks so much for replying so swiftly (don't feel so lonely now) xxx
  5. Hi I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but I have received court paper through the post from MDK regarding a HSBC account for £645. I only had a basic current account with them with no overdraft so I can only conclude this figure is made up of charges. I was in the process of reclaiming charges several years ago (unsuccessfully ) I've never been in this situation before so I don't know what to do and am very worried - I work and my other half takes care of our young children but we normally have nothing left from my wages after bills and about to start a claim for housing benefit as our income has gone down again If anyone can offer me any advice I would really appreciate it, as the stress is making me so ill. Thanks x
