  1. Wow, great maths! In that case, my sheet says total charges £444, compound interest £158.91, so total is £602.91. Where do I go from here?!
  2. I have put all the charges on, however I can't find a record of the APR so not sure what to put for that?
  3. Can anyone help after I've attached my statement above?! I'd really like to get some action taken this week, but I'm really at a loss of even where to start! Thanks everyone.
  4. Just to update, I received another letter from Lowells saying they are still looking into my case, and it is taking longer than they thought, and since it has been over 8 weeks they included a FOS leaflet in case I want to contact them. So does this mean they can't find documentation? Every day the post comes I get a little nervous!
  5. Hi everyone, thanks for the advice. In answer to some questions, going through the SAR on at least 5 occasions it says no insurance, or NA next to insurance, or 0.0 paid in insurance. BUT on the complete summary it says interest charged and pomp. There is definitely interest charged. Would it be helpful if I uploaded the statement to see if you can make sense of it? I want to get the ball rolling on this as soon as I can. Lastly, d oes anyone know what APR I put in the CIS spreadsheet to work it out? I can find no record of an APR on the SAR (to be fair most of the SAR is blank pages saying no details found, they don't seem to have a lot of information about this account at all!)
  6. Sorry, I have more questions, on the statement where is lists all the payments and charges it has a line where it adds the interest each month, but the amount changes each time. It starts off saying 1.89 pomp charged (what does pomp mean?!) but each month it goes up about, until the last month on the statement where it is 15.11pomp charged. Is this something to do with the APR? if so how do i implement this onto the spreadsheet?
  7. I sent them a CCA request in 2010, but they sent me back a blank CCA and said i would have signed something like this (but it wasn't filled out). I've added all of the charges to he spreadsheet, and they come to £444. But if I haven't PAID them, can I reclaim them and charge interest? Still just wondering if the end date on the spreadsheet is today's date, or the date of the last charge, and what the APR is. If i can't see it I will base is on 29.9%. This was a Nat Close Acc. thanks everyone!
  8. Hmm, i can't find a record of the APR on any of the sheets? There is something called a higher payment rate which is 10.08, or else a section called credit options where it says payment rate is 61.28. None of the paperwork says APR or has a percentage. On the spreadsheet, do you put the end date as todays date, or the date of the last charge? Thank you so much!!
  9. Sorry, do i need to put in the APR so that the compound interest works?! I'm being silly here!
  10. Great, will have a go at the spreadsheet, hate excel! What should i put under compound interest, and days elapsed, and what should I put as the APR in the top blue box? Notes don't really say.
  11. Okay, so the original value of purchase was £67. I've paid them over £125 in total over the years. I know owe £612. There are 37 charges of £12 (admin fee) on the account totalling £444. How would i go about reclaiming, will the account be on hold whilst i do it? How long does it take? I'd be worried about them persuing court action whilst i try and reclaim the charges. How much of those admin fee's would be classed as unfair, i/e how much do you think i would get back if they were charging them between 2007 to 2010! Thanks Havinastella, appreciate your help. Feel like such a complete loser right now. A debt of £67 which i could have settled has now become £600. Ridiculous! I was so bad at hiding from stuff and now look....
  12. Ive had a closer look, I made 3 card payments totalling £120 (one in January and June of 2008, and then another 3 in June, July and August 2009) So its not statute barred as i have acknowledged it....
  13. Looks like it was opened Sept 2007... What does that mean? So do i have 2 options, go for Statute Barred, or own up and reclaim all the charges?
  14. Hi All, So today I received my SAR information back. A couple of things: 1) There is no credit agreement (it says credit agreement not available) 2) the account was opened in 2007, £67 worth of stuff was ordered, it looks like nothing was paid at all (their records make no mention of any payment being received), then they added £12 admin fee's every month since then, which would explain why it's at £620! I sent them a CCA request in 2010, and thats when they stopped adding charges, so has been that amount since then. So, firstly, is this statute barred, and secondly, is it enforceable with no CCA? Any suggestions as to my next step? Thanks Everyone!
  15. Darn it! I've sent it now. I would have been happy to leave it whilst I was hearing nothing, but the dreaded cream envelope from Bryan Carter makes me nervous. I will keep my fingers crossed for good news then.... Thanks Andy!
  16. Argh, so Andy do you think I am wrong to have sent the letters above? I've just been to the post office.........
  17. Hello, I work for a large organisation, and my name is on a list of people to potentially have a company credit card. This will be used to make it easier to purchase consumables and admin related items. It would make my work life much easier too. However, I have terrible credit, which I'd rather my work didn't know about. If they want to give me a company credit card, will I have to go through a credit check, or is it the organisation that goes through the credit check rather than the individual holding it?
  18. Great, just been to post office to get PO's and to get proof of postage, so lets wait and see what they say!
  19. Hello Everyone, I have a very old catalogue debt, I don't know the exact date of opening it, but I would say maybe 2006/2007. I only ordered a small number of goods, then paid it off, but then for some reason stopped paying. In 2010 I was getting letters regarding it, so I CCA'd them in June 2010. I have a vague recollection that they send me a blank credit agreement form and said they didn't have mine, but it would be like this. After that I don't think I did anything with it (stupid me). I have a default on my credit report from May 2010 for this, and the amount is for over £600. I find the amount strange too, as I'm almost sure i only ordered 2 things, so I believe the debt to be under £80. Now I am getting letters again, and now a letter from Drysden Fairfax. What is my first step, do you suggest I SAR them, or CCA them (again) or can I send a SAR request and a CCA at the same time, or does that contradict the CCA (i.e. not acknowledging the debt) Thank you for your help everyone!
  20. Thanks Bazooka, I've just written the letters now. Should I send a copy of each letter to the others too? I.e Send BC a copy of the letter I've sent to Lowell and Vice Versa? What happens if they do provide the CCA? Even though it is after the 12+2, is it still enforcable? Thank you for your help!
  21. Hi All, despite sending the prove it stuff, all went quiet from Lowell and BC (BC wrote saying the account was on hold till 7th Feb while they looked into it but then heard nothing). However yesterday I received a letter from BC just simply saying, please can you contact us about this account as soon as possible. I'm not sure what to do now? Lowell have failed to send me the CCA I requested on 28th January..... Thank you!
  22. Just an update. So today I really did receive a cheque in the post from the Lewis group. With respect of an old GE money card I had (Debenhams). It's a pleasant surprise to say the least!
