  1. Hi all, just an update on my first post 11/7/06 Sent first letter to Sir Fred Godwin RBS Group PLC Edinburgh Recieved reply5/8/06 from Gordon F Pell Chief Executive Retail Markets Bishopsgate london EC2M 4RB stating after a lot of Blurb that they will, as gesture of good will refund charges associated with the smaller excess on the bank account but any charges in the future will stand unless there has been an error. I am claiming £449.00 + £26.95 interest total £475.96. They have offered £200.00. If I wish to accept please sign the enclosed letter and return. This is the bank's final response on this matter. They have suggested I contact the Financial Ombudsman Service and provided contact information. What is my next step is it court action and how do I start that?
  2. I have posted elsewhere a similar statement that it has been determined that the banks by returning the excessive charges made are knowingly commiting an unlawful act of theft through privaledged knowledge and access to their customer details. The problem is that it is too great for any individual or small group to tackle and therefore needs to be cranked up to the next level in the legal system or some courageous MP to take it straight to the House. All MP's have e mail an address, if enough overcharged cutomers complained to their MP a small breeze given enough support could result in a wind of change through the house and eventually to fair financial system of charges.
