Sorry to but in but was the calling card in a little brown envelope if it was check and see if there was a stamp on it ive had one like this in the past scotcall are well known in my area for trying to make out they have called at your address when they have not -

how strange first bcw get my private land line number now lowell has it aswell just recieved a voice recording asking me to ring them FAT CHANCE of that is some company harvesting numbers like some do ip addresses ?

Excellent result keep the letter safe if i was you i would scan the letter and keep a copy of it on your pc or on a flash drive just to be on the safe side:-D

no problem just make sure you get a letter our recipt off three saying you have paid it off with in 14 days just to be on the safe side just in case moorcroft or any other DCA tries to say you still owe money and need to pay

you could allways telephone 3 and ask if they still hold the account and it has not been sold on

hi can anyone understand this just been looking at letters more carefully letter from robbersway dated june 2013 ive been sold to hoist in november 2012 then letter from hoist opening balance 2008 and letter from BCWW formal demand next month settlement offer BIG discount ive been getting letters from them since 2004 do they ever go to court because i would love it where i live some judges hate finance companys and debt buyers

Please do as citizenB has said you our we might laugh at there stupid threats but some poor person who does not know what powerless these DCAS are will get stressed and worried and pay them because they dont know about CAG.

im not sure but this could be a DCA trying there look with you the site admin people will be able to give you better advice than i can. the car is your sons you said if i was him i would hide the car round at a mates home untill you both sort it out just to be on the safe side and dont let any stranger in to your home
