  1. Thanks for the help Citizen. I've emailed them advising unless they provide a full explanation within 5 days, I'll raise their refusal to do so to FOS and the ICO.
  2. So, the 56 days has expired with no explanation from the company. That said, the marker has been removed? Noddle can't provide any additional reason why, just referred me back to Wonga? All seems a bit odd? I know Wonga are under the cosh at the mo from the regulator but is this standard treatment from the company?
  3. Hi Citizen B, Thanks for the quick response. I did email the complaint to the mailbox detailed on their website. The acknowledgement is copied in below. the Customer Complaint procedures they sent me clearly states complaints can be made by email also. As far as I can see, they've had 4 weeks of the 8 allowed for FOS to investigate? I'm just a bit surprised considering the FCA giving them a shoeing a while back, they've decided not to properly investigate? "Thanks for your email on 24/08/2014. Our escalations team is looking in to this matter. We’ll do our best to resolve it asap and we’ll send you an update within 7 days of receiving your email. A copy of our complaints policy is attached. This includes useful information on how we deal with complaints. If you want to speak to us directly about this, please don’t hesitate to call 0207 138 8330. Yours sincerely, Escalations Team Wonga.com"
  4. Quick update. I raised a complaint to Wonga via email, they acknowledged by return, sending me an automated reply saying they'd investigate and respond within 7 days. Despite this being a month ago, i've received nothing else. Is this standard procedure that they don't bother investigating? Also, I raised a dispute with Noddle, the id check has now dropped off and/or disappeared from my credit file? I find it odd Wonga would deal with the credit agency but not tell me anything why they placed it in the first place?!
  5. I've emailed them today asking why they've carried the check out, will see what they say.
  6. Thanks all for your responses, I just thought it was odd as I'd heard nothing since 2010 when I had the loan and haven't been in touch since.
  7. I had a Wonga loan some 3 years ago, all paid off with no problems. I've had no dealings with the company since, however last month they've carried out an Identification check on my Noddle credit report? Is this usual? Why would they do this???
  8. Hi, I phoned FOS, they were fair but are unable to investigate as i'm not a customer. They did suggest as they couldn't find a Credit Licence the company were as dodgy as a 9 bob note and to steer clear. Thanks
  9. Hi all, Quick update. Although i've heard nothing from the FCA directly, I did find this on their website. http://www.fca.org.uk/news/warnings/wagelender-cc
  10. Edited. Thanks renegadeimp. I'll contact the OFT to see what they say. Chuffing parasites. (the company, not OFT)
  11. Hi all, Has anyone any ideas how I can make a complaint against the company wagelender.com? They've sent me 15 texts offering me a PDL in the last week, I've not asked for it but can't find any address/phone number/email to make a complaint to get them to stop? Anyone any ideas? Thanks x
  12. Hi, Has anyone had any dealings with the above company? They're texting and e-mailing me offering loans which I don't want, I've emailed them to ask them to stop but they don't seem to act on my requests. I can't find any address, telephone number, credit licence or data protection reference so I can complain to the ICO? If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. Sal.
  13. Thanks all, i'll go firing on all fronts, bank, ICO and the individual who's data i've received, hopefully they'll follow it up with a complaint themselves.
