  1. Hi, I had a similar fault with a tv and found a simple repair was to locate the fan grill at the back of tv and check if fan is spinning when tv turned on. With a hoover pipe on suction put it as close as possible to/touching the grill and suck for a couple of minutes to get dust out of fan blades and get it working again. I put a tiny screwdriver in the grill and spun the blades a couple f turns and hoovered again and it worked perfectly. Fan chokes and overheats stopping tv from turning on. Might fix it so worth a try. Good luck Graham. PS under sale of goods act 2015 you do not have to prove a fault rather the company has to prove it.
  2. A great result. email from Clarks Customer Services which i printed off and took to Clarks shop. Shoes replaced after a little fuss and checking with head office that email was indeed genuine. thanks
  3. Thanks again ericsbrother. Yes i checked it out and tried to pose the question but it stated i needed to be a member. After trying to join as a member it further stated that to be a member one had to be a company or organisation. I am still awaiting a reply from the email i sent Clarks Customer Services although i have received an acknowledgement of my complaint and a promise of a response within 48 hours.
  4. Thank you ericsbrother & unclebulgaria for your replies. No she is not dragging her foot as the patent has peeled off the top of the shoe not anywhere that could rub off. She's only worn them for around 2 months as she had them for christmas. I've never heard of SATRA but have googled it and will now check this out but on a better note i have had some success from the consumer Which? They have given me complaint tool which was generated when i gave them all the details and the letter spells out the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which i've sent off to Clarks this afternoon. I will update further when i get a reply from Clarks. PS. It is now the responsibility of Clarks ( Since 2015) to prove that their product is not faulty and not the other way around. Thanks again Graham
  5. We purchased a pair of Girls Black Patent shoes for our granddaughter on October 30th 2015. She has worn them for only 3 months and the Patent has partly peeled off on the left shoe only. Clarks refused outright to do anything about it citing that as they were 4 months old it was fair ware and tear. The shoes have virtually no wear on the soles and have been looked after well. They have been only lightly used. What rights do we have and how can we proceed further with this issue. Many thanks in anticipation
