Thanks... Which is why my previous Advisor waved at me in a childish manner, he is probably hoping to wave goodbye to me with a sanction... In a way Ingeus are using bullying tactics... I have no proof/evidence to back myself, I don't think the Job Centre would listen to me? I sign on next Tuesday before the meeting with my Advisor, I will ask for some advice etc...

Dials 0906 *** ***... "Hi, may i speak with the Manager?" ....."err, I'm the Manger. How may i help you?" "Well, I was wondering if you have any job vacancies?" ......"err, Yeah you can do any job you want, anything!" "Fantastic, what do you do? Anything you say?" 2 HOURS LATER..... I then hang up. I walk over to my Advisor and tell him I've been offered a job, he asks for the Managers name and telephone number... Oh its 0906 *** ***, and her name is Betty Swallocks............................

I've just had a thought... Maybe I need to look for work abroad. I've always wanted to travel, I'm willing to emigrate/move abroad. I will cold call next week... Does anyone have the international code for USA and Australia? Lol

@rebeccapidgeon... The letter is the standard one with appointment time etc. On the back it says... your activities for your next appointment are: Client to come in and call through list of Bars to sell personal licence and self to them. Funny thing is, Ingeus refused to help me with my personal licence back in March. Now my Advisor won't shut up about it...

Yep, why would Ingeus waste their time on me when I've withdrawn consent?... To try and annoy me i suppose! One thing that would annoy them is if i actually got a job offer from a cold call, they couldn't claim outcome payments as I've withdrawn consent! hahahaha *update* I've just read my job seekers agreement and it says... *Write to at least 3 employers a week *Phone at least 0 employers a week *Visit at least 10 employers a week *Search direct.gov 7 times a week *Ask family and friends *Look in local newspapers So, if my agreement says phone 0 employers, then i don't need to cold call???

"Hello, I was wondering if you may have any job vacancies?" ........"No, sorry, we do all our recruiting online/application forms" "Well, I have 10 years Bar experience, fully trained and I have a personal licence" ........"We've already told you we're not after anyone!!! And if we were then our recruitment is by application only" MY ADVISOR WANTS ME TO PUSH!.... "I'm the right person for the job though, I will do a work trial and show you what I can do!" ......"How many times do i have to tell you! We don't require anymore staff" PHONE HANGS UP!!!!!!

This website is monitored by Ingeus. I was caught out by posting an email from my Advisor, I couldn't exactly deny it!... 3 hours of cold calling... My Advisors exact words... "When you cold call don't take no for an answer, Make sure you push and push and sell yourself!"

Hi everyone, As you all know my temporary vacancy ended at Royal Mail... Back at Ingeus today for my first appointment, My Advisor seemed OK with me considering i withdrew consent the day the temp position started. He asked how the job went, and when it ended etc. He asked for my job search, he never normally asks for this... He left me to print off the evidence and said he would discuss matters further in 20 minutes or so...I guessed it would be something to do with withdrawing consent? Nope! He asked me to attend next week to complete 3 hours of cold calling, why waste time asking me to complete these tasks? I've withdrawn consent!!!... I said i disagree with cold calling, due to being told to F off in the past. I said I'd be quiet happy to pop around town with my CV to pubs etc. He said that's fine with him, but he wants me to do cold calling next week! As i was collecting my travel i noticed my previous Advisor walk over to my new Advisor and say... "So, what have you done with Richard?" I heard my Advisor say 3 hours of cold calling next week. My previous Advsior grinned and looked at me whilst rubbing his hands together. I believe this was a set up, a kind of get your own back approach... Then my previous Advisor attended to a client and looked over at me... He patronizingly waved his hand to me and smiled.... WHY WOULD INGEUS WASTE THEIR TIME WITH ME WHEN I'VE WITHDRAWN CONSENT? I believe this is a set up, My previous Advisor checks this website so knows what i put. I still think he's a little upset at me and wants revenge...

If i buy something from a shop, then i pay for it. If i fill up my car with petrol, then i pay for it.... If i get a job whilst with Ingeus, then Ingeus get paid for it... WHY?... Money is given to someone for a service. If no service is given, then why should they be paid? It's like me going to some random person and giving them money for nothing.

Maybe these secret jobs are cold calling jobs?... At my local Ingeus branch they refer to the cold calling jobs as EST vacancies, I think it stands for Employment Services Team???...A team of fully "trained" Admin Clerks cold call companies to harass them. So, these maybe the hidden jobs? COLD CALLING PEOPLE FOR JOBS, desperate times ahead for Ingeus

Well, when i first attended Ingues they seemed very helpful. I met a lady who works for Ingeus, she basically cold calls possible employers and says "we can take care of your recruitment if needed"... She arranged an interview at a Children's play center, then at a Travelodge. Both jobs didn't exist, i believe the companies felt pressured into interviewing people. They offered me a trial at the children's play center, but in the kitchen. I have no experience at all, or qualifications. The original job was 30 hours as a children's entertainer... Then when i attended the Interview it was only 16 hours!!!

@ Bullpoofilter So, Ingeus Advisors actually do work? I was with Ingeus for over a year and they only ever suggested 2 vacancies to me... Every-time i attend Ingeus i see Advisors drinking cups of tea, talking to clients in a cantankerous/patronising manner. Paid over 20k for doing sweet FA in my opinion, when can i start? What a dream job, to do absolutely nothing and be paid for it. All the jobs i applied for i applied for myself, found myself, completed applications myself. Ingeus wanted credit for doing F all, so I've proved a point... Ingeus get paid for doing nothing, in my case anyway.

Well, my Advisor couldn't care less that i got a 4 week job at Royal Mail. All he was interested in was "sustainable employment", My local job centre congratulated me for getting 4 weeks work... Ingeus couldn't give a flying $%£&!!! I'm back at the job centre on Monday for a rapid-reclaim, god i miss the job and money/wages already.

When i was with the sub-contractor i found out that they get £40-£50 per course, per client! This soon adds up when a course is only 2-3 hours long, and 8-10 clients participate in a "mornings education" ... I did 6 courses whilst i was with Sencia, so the money soon mounts up! I don't know the true figures but I'm guessing £200-£300 for the courses i completed etc. Easy money hey!!!!

I was sent to a company called "Sencia" which are part of the ESG group, they have links with Ingeus. I assume Ingeus would still get a cut even if someone got a job whilst with Sencia. From what I've been told, only awkward clients and those who are difficult to find work for get sent to a subbie...

Because i was a nice chap when i started the work prog i was left alone for a year or so... They could see i was job ready and applying for vacancies etc. After a year they packed my bags and shipped me to a sub-contractor. I actually enjoyed it to be honest, yeah the pointless/useless courses they provided were ridiculous but entertaining. I was actually glad to escape jail and have a 18 week holiday, my Advisor was really friendly and helpful. They had targets to hit just like Ingeus but they seemed to be more helpful and caring etc... They can refer you at anytime, they seem to refer the awkward ones like me and the ones that haven't found a job within a year. I'm loving being in work, it's just a shame it will end in a week or so... Will i be referred back to Ingeus when i sign back on???????? Can the job centre contact Ingeus?... I wrote a letter to my job centre saying i don't want them to contact Ingeus, or any work programme provider regarding my employment etc. LOL

Hey, I have nothing to hide, I did actually change my name to "Anti Ingeus then to "Ingeus DoLittle. I'm not really bothered anymore if Ingeus read any of my posts on here... I withdrew consent back in March, re-signed the consent forms and then withdrew again! I won't be signing any forms again. I've sent a copy of the withdrawal of consent letter to my local job centre, I will be signing back on in 7-10 days when this temp vacancy finishes. The Ingeus office which i use bribes clients with cash insentives, the person to apply for the most jobs gets £30 cash. This is against the law to pay job seekers money whilst claiming the dole?... I wrote my job centre a letter explaining why I withdrew consent, hopefully something will be done regarding the illegal activities which go on. Ingeus Advisors are desperate to hit targets so they leach onto easy targets such as me who are job ready. Now that I've withdrawn consent i hope i will be left alone when i go back next year. Anymore trouble from my cantankerous Advisor, then i will report him for paying Ingeus clients cash intensives etc...

Thanks!... I don't think they will be taking anyone on, we are referred to as casuals and nothing more! lol Nimitz... The threat of a sanction scares me, so i do everything they ask me to do. Even though this Royal Mail job is only temp for 4-5 weeks, I'm frightened that i'll end up being ill or something and sanctioned for not turning up. I broke my big toe 2 days before i started at Royal Mail, I still turned up but could hardly walk. The job centre will find anyway to stop anyone's money, its ridiculous! Or, am i worrying for nothing? lol

My previous Advisor at Ingeus used to check my posts on here, which is why I've not been on here in a while. He confronted me regarding a post on here a while back... I referred to the work program as a "prison camp", this didn't go down very well with him. I have a new Advisor now who has barely left school, he used to harass me in a cantankerous way, and forced me to complete tasks over and over again. I'm now working at Royal Mail over the Christmas period sorting all the mail, I'm loving it! It's nice to escape my 2 year sentence on annual leave. The funny thing is i took my withdrawal of consent letter to work and popped it in the pigeon hole myself! hahaha I'm not looking forward to going back to Ingeus next year, they are a bunch of morons who continue to make unilateral decisions to hit targets. I cant believe my Advisor wanted me to attend over the Christmas period, yet I'm F'in working!

Hi everyone, I've not been on this forum for sometime... Back in March of this year i withdrew my consent with Ingeus, I started a job which only lasted a few days. I had a few problems and needed to leave etc. I was sanctioned for leaving a job voluntarily, i won my appeal due to the circumstances and legalities. I was then referred back to Ingeus, i then re-signed the consent forms (silly me) only because i wanted to be referred to a sub-contractor for 18 weeks and Ingeus were still making me come in 2-3 times per week. Whilst i was with the sub-contractor i got a job offer as a Christmas casual (Royal Mail). This was my 18th week with the sub-contractor who wanted to claim a job outcome, I was then referred back to Ingeus who told me that the Sub-contractor had claimed the job outcome.... After further investigation i found out that Ingeus stole the job outcome from the Sub-contractor and were fighting over the brownie points... I tried to claim travel but they were both telling porkies and saying the other claimed the outcome. I withdrew my consent when i signed off and i sent the job centre a copy, and explained my situation to them. Am i the only person to re-sign the consent letters? hehehehe, I won't be signing them ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. If your son got the job, then the work programme provider would be happy to get their Brucey bonuses from the job outcome... And are also happy to Sanction your son for attending the interview?... Ludicrous!!! The Work programme provider deserve to have all their “pimp money” sanctioned for all of this, so make sure your son never lets them have anything from a job outcome.
