  1. Many thanks OC. Could you please also help with my other two questions in my previous post? 1. Will the prosecutor attend court if plea guilty by letter? 2. I am working and a permanent resident in UK but not UK citizen, will the criminal record affect my entry to UK in the future? Does this means I can not travel oversea until it spends? Thanks in advance
  2. Many thanks Old-CodJA. More questions: If plea guilty by letter but do not send means form, is that ok? Will the prosecutor attend court if plea guilty by letter? I am working and a permanent resident but not UK citizen, will the criminal record affect my entry to UK in the futher? Does this means I can not travel oversea until it spends? Thanks in advance.
  3. Dear Old-CodJA, Just want to clarify the length of the recod on file. You said 'This may remain on file for a year or two'. It seems some other sources said 5 years or more? Thanks in advance. Best Regards
  4. Dear Old-CodJA, Why need 'cc to Magistrates Court'? Thanks in advance? Best regards
  5. Hi mrdell80, Any progress on your case? Thanks in advance. Best Regards
  6. Hi introuble74. Any outcome in your case? Thanks in advance. Best regards
  7. Many Thanks, dx. Which way do you think it's more appropriate to reply: hand writing or print and sign? Thanks again. llkkqq
  8. Dear All, Received the first letter from London Underground. I desperately want to sort out of court and keen to pay any administration fee caused. Is it ok I put an offer with a cheque in reply? Thanks very much for your advice. Best Regards llkkqq
  9. Dear Old-CodJA, Many thanks for your suggestion and your kindness. Best Regards llkkqq
  10. Dear HB, Many thanks for your replies. And many thanks for the forum which have been accompanying me through the darkest days in my life. Actually in my case, no summon yet, even no first letter yet. After some initial readings, I understand the procedure and am nearly sure of my result. That's why I asked a question about summon. But some latest posts gives me a thread of light (although very weak). I am like most others, always law-abiding and even timid in life, definitely with good nature but just stupidity at one moment, and then extreme worries, anxieties and cryings... Thanks again for all the forum contributors. Best Regards llkkqq
  11. Many thanks, Stigy. Would it be definitely better to send the check with the letter (worded as you suggested)? Or could be worse result? Or not sure? How much would be appropriate on the check? £200? £300? or the more the better? Sorry for the further questions. Desperately wanting to sort out of court. Best Regards llkkqq
  12. Dear Grotesque, Are you serious? I mean a letter with a signed / dated cheque for £200? Will they be angry as seemingly a kind of bribe? I am looking forward any comment on this. Thanks in advance. llkkqq
  13. Dear Gick. Thanks very much for your kind offer and great analysis! Best Regards
  14. Dear Alkalo, That's great you finally settle out of court. Could you please give details of how you convinced them finally? Thanks very much.
  15. Many Thanks, Old-CodJA. I do not want to lie to try to mitigate the fine. My concern is too much info leaked (e.g. employer, NIN etc). That's why I do not want to send the means form. Could you please let me know roughly how much fine could be without means form? It's fare evasion concviction. BTW, once convicted by court, should I let my employer know at once? I feel embarassed and worried bad effects if telling them. Some say fare evasion is minor conviction, do not need to tell employer. Thanks again in advance.
  16. Dear All, I do not want to send means form with plea guilty as I do not want to fill info of employer etc. Is it ok? I do not mind the fine too much. My second question, if convicted, should I definately let my employer know? I feel embarassed and also fear bad effect once telling them. Thanks very much for your replies in advance.
