  1. well a couple of days ago hsbc rang and told me they couldnt give me a proper reason why the sar request was given to hfc. they asked me to resend the cheque and sar request. im awaiting a full and final from metropoliton (hsbcs dca) so should i wait for this to arrive as i dont want them to reverse their decision on an offer ive made them on a outstanding debt. i have the 7 day sar response letter ready to go.
  2. has anyone had any trouble with getting a sar from hsbc? i had my letter and check sent back with a letter from hsc bank saying they cant locate my account. not surprising when i dont bank with them??? ive only ever banked with hsbc.
  3. hsbc are now investigating why they havent send me my sar request and why ive received a letter from hfs. bunch of idiots! their customer service people dont even no what a sar is??
  4. so i have sent the letter hsbc and i know theyve recieved it. do i class it as them not wanting to comply? why would they pass it to hfs bank?? is sending the second letter in this thread the next step?
  5. yeh sent to the address that i found on this forum. like i said its stamped by various departments on the letter saying they have received it at hsbc. i spoke to customers services today and had to explain what a sar was because she didn't know what it was????? ive had a few issues with them before this and it seams like they are giving me the run around hoping i will go away. is there a template letter i can send now??
  6. i recieved a letter today from HFC bank? they state they cannot find my account. the letter is stamped by hsbc and says uk data privacy compliance on it so i pressume its been to the right place. ive never heard of hfc
  7. i would ring the store manager or the tesco customer services and make a bit of a fuss about it. theu should really take it back instore. i know asda and morrisons do within a year for electrical items
  8. so regarding welcome finance are we saying that if a ppi claim is won then the money goes towards any balance that is owed to them?
  9. i think every major supermarket will have loads of pricing issues. it comes down to the fact these businesses are becoming a tougher environment to work in as a result of trying to stay cheap and affordable at a low cost
  10. LOL. ive just got that feeling that they wont respond as hsbc are so incompetent while ive been dealing with them. cant wait to put them straight really. LOL
  11. 13 days and counting then...........
  12. right im about aweek away from the 40 days. i have prove from royal mail it was signed for (even if the signature was a swiggle!) but ive got a name. what happens if i dont see a response from them within the 40 days? ive also seen that sometimes they ask for prove of identity? obviously this should only hold up them sending the sar out if they request it from me?
  13. from working in two large leading supermarlets the pricing and offers will be updated on the tills/computers and then any changes must be done by staff. they will have some sort of list showing what will change and when. so basically take the example of the chickens on the 2 for £x.xx offer. it will run from a certain date and then the store will be told it finishes on a certain date so they need to take the labels off saying the offer has finished at the right time. so these issues will be 99% human error in store where the store hasnt follow there process for offers and price changes
  14. i used to work for asda and i would sugguest take it back to the store with receipt first of all. just say the box was thrown out as its just not practical to keep all boxes for products. then i would do what cardiff devil suggests.
