Ok bit of an update. Date for hearing is set for next Feb so something to look forward to after Chrimbo. I guess it's never too early to start getting my stuff together and preparing a statement. Anyone willing to give me some tips?

Called the court today and as Andy says, the fee has been paid. I guess they are taking this to the line, I still have seen no evidence that would lead me to think they have a case! At what point would/should I be able to see documentation they are going to use.

Not such good news today, had a letter from Sharpyoung&pearce saying their client (Lowells) want to proceed. Here is what it said. 'We have written to the court to advise that the Claimant wishes to proceed with this matter, However, we envisage writing to you separately in respect of the claim.' Anyone have any thoughts on this, seems a bit strange that they are writing to me, why don't they just get on with it?

Yes indeed, good stuff. I guess it's still a bit of a waiting game to see if they contest my defence though. I still haven't had anything in response to my CPR request not even an acknowledgement.

Letter came today from Northampton court saying my defence had been received and forwarded to Cap1s solicitors, they have 28 days to respond. I also checked Noddle today and the default has gone.

Yes acknowledged the claim online and no I cannot be certain of last payment.
