  1. The bills in my flatmates name, but they don't live at the property anymore, and npower has sent that they are considering getting a warrant of entry, however we requested a payment card in november and this still hasn't come. what can we do?
  2. Managed to get online, yet there's one bit we're struggling to get. As we were up to date until this month and there's £200 that we can't work out as it's for a period that we've already paid for anyone any advice?
  3. not got any of the login details, and we'd set it up jointly when we all moved in.
  4. we don't have the bill, as it got set by an old tenant who used to live with us to email only. Is there a way we can it resent?
  5. We paid our bill of about £115 off the middle of last month, then a quarterly bill turned up this month for £740. There's 4 of us in the house. Anyone got any advice? It seems stupidly high for just 4 weeks - 6 weeks usage.
  6. that looks a very dodgy form uploaded by OP you sure it is JBW and not just a [problem]?
  7. I worked in customs years ago before that came in, I did say I was customs a while ago You will only give you price you paid for it, nothing more as they have no legal power to. If they destroyed them after the date on the paperwork you were given, http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/customs/seized-goods.htm#2 read there. Customs law is complex and there are small changes quite often. Keeps you on your toes. 11K is an abuse, and you should fully expect to be questioned if you have that much, they screen the bags a lot of times, and you can't charge harassment against them, they're doing their job and are fully within their rights to stop you. I know customs can be annoying but they have rules that they have to follow. cigarettes are day to day for customs, and 11k is very hard to prove for personal and in 99.9% of cases is supplying.
  8. limit where supplying is often (and rightly so) suspected. I would say it is very hard to prove personal over 800.
  9. Do you really want abuse thrown at you? as it can be as your attitude is ****. Having worked in both civilian and military customs, know which I prefer. How many cigarettes did you have for the 1.4k? Also was it just for you? We all have common sense and I don't work for customs anymore, it's a very hard job. Crown court judgement on appeal is **** really, you stropped because you didn't get your way. Only makes you higher on radar when going through any port. Clever aren't we. (thought I'd use same attitude to you as you have done to me see how you like it) That just sounds so suspect what you say as you just sound like a supplier. What is the law and QUOTE it? you were from EU weren't you? You won't get small claims, as you have receipt you will get purchase price. If you have above the limit, yes there is a limit from EU, then you will get them seized, I think you were over it and the judge had no clue of the limit that has been in place about 2 years ago. One of which I think you are abusing and which I think the customs officer and magistrate realised. When were they destroyed and when did you start proceedings?
  10. having worked in customs many years ago. There are some things I would point out. If they had already disposed of the goods before you went to court and before you appealed you will only get the purchase price back, although not sure why'd you buy £1.4k worth in one hit, as that sounds more than enough grounds for supplying. Customs have rules and they can give you the monetary value rather than the goods as they don't exist anymore. I can see exactly where that barrister was coming from, I smoke but have a lot of sense not to bring stupid amounts in the country. You're own fault and whatever you get back you're lucky as tbh I think the court was wrong in awarding you the money, as you can't prove they are just personal, just on the amount it can be seen as proof of supplying, and that's not just UK law but a lot of countries.
  11. I run a guide unit and have been threatened with loosing hall we meet because of new promise (not going in to that here) and had a letter from PCC saying we have to pay £18 p/h for 52 weeks a year. we don't meet 52 weeks. We have an agreement at the moment with them which doesn't mention the promise. They sent us this as part of reasons why While we respect the changes that Girlguiding have made, under the 1993 Charities Act we are bound that any disposal (sale or letting) of the church hall must be at full market value. It then continued to say that exemption from the 1993 Act could only happen at the PCC discretion and if they thought that the charity's objectives are in line the charitable objectives of the church. Any advice helpful.
  12. Have order a morph suit off of the site in the thread title, and have had nothing from them apart from an email confirming my order, I had express delivery and it says on their website that it would be delivered the same day before 11am, however it hasn't been dispatched as hadn't had an email (as they said there would be one) Is there anything I can do? Have emailed them, and nothing back.
  13. Spoke to a friend who showed me part of her contract she wasn't happy with and I was shocked and wondered if anyone could actually tell me if any of this is illegal or verging on it? this is what she said: Members fees- This is kept by *** to cover site costs, excluding travel and accomidiation any adittional money will be split between the site owner, and other so *** models. But my consern i bought up is what about finders fees, i said i have a fan base if i get them to sign up to the site, im loseing out. Also there is no way to see how much money u have earnt, or how much the site fees ect are, so how do models know they arnt being ripped off! The *** arnt getting paid, we cover our own transport, outfits ect too and from our homes to the shoot which is normally in london They need 4 weeks notice if ur not going to be a so sexilicious girl but they can sack u at any time.
  14. can anyone else confirm that? also how would i be able to work them out roughly?
  15. I have recently inherrited several billboards and wondered do you have to pay council tax on them?
