  1. Ok paid in full today so I get it removed if file, not had anything of the courts just the letter to say send back
  2. Received a court claim form from drydens limited for £273.28 plus court £25 and £50 legal costs, for £348.28. We sent the form N9A back to the claimant as admitted claim but wanted more time to pay so to spread it over 3 months. I called yesterday to see if form received and this was ok, they didn't say it was or wasn't they said they forwarded our admission to the court so judgement could be entered! I asked why they did this without discussing with us they did not say, told I would call today to make the 1st payment to be told they added a £40 fee on top as the CPR rules state they can! I was angry over this as they had made no effort to tell us this or inform of the few or that they sent out admission to the court, we had read the form that said if we wanted more time to pay to send it to the claimant not the court as entering an admission may result in a judgement being entered against you, but they have said they sent it on our behalf
  3. I can't do as this company don't let you, and why should I when I was promised 3 days a week and now not getting it and they took on more staff for the same role and give them more hours.
  4. I don't get complaints sorry should have put good feedback, I'm worried now as this month I will only come home with £500 due to them cutting my hours
  5. No nothing, yes same role, I work at 2 different sites but they just at the one. Got 10 out of 10 on performance and also get complaints any mistakes I've owned up to straight away and resolved. The
  6. Just looked at contract normal working hours is a blank box and normal working days box Is blank but yet I was told 3! I'm fuming and upset as that means they don't have to give me any hours ;(
  7. I just cancelled my holiday in December too because they said I wouldn't have any holiday pay due to not working enough hours, thinking going to go our area manager and see what they can do

  9. I said that too but apprently because I've done 4 days a week instead of 3 the last few weeks it covers the fact I'm now not getting 3 days a week, I stressed that was over time but apprently there is nothing I can do.
  10. I'm contracted to 3 days a week and recently a member of staff who did 5 days a week has took a year off due to illness, I was working 5-6 days a week for 2 months I was happy to do this. Then they took on another member of staff on a 4 day contract. For the last 2 months I've been doing 4 days a week, but had a call today saying that I've too many holidays booked, not sure how my wage slip says 7 left but manager says 5, that I can look into more. then went on to say look because you have worked 4 days for the last few weeks I can only give you 1 shift week for the next 4 weeks! I said no I can't!! I'm the only one working in our house as my partner job was lost (due to company going into administration) Then said I've covered all my contracted hours the last few weeks! But yet the be person is still getting more hours! I'm fuming what can I do. I've not been with company for 2 years only 9 months, so not sure what to do
  11. It says 3 days a week, as sometimes we work 8 hours or just 3, depends on needs. I've not set days
  12. yeah I know, I suppose it's just being treated like c***, Because they know I need the money. I'm gutted. What can I do about the fact my contract says 3 days a week but I only get 1 sometimes, and the fact they told me they not got enough hours but then took on a new person, when I asked them they said well you worked 6 days a week for 5 weeks so it makes up for it, but I said no that was overtime and had no reponse
  13. No I don't live in the hotel, it doesn't say much just that we don't get double pay or over time for them just a day in Lou in work them

I've just started working for a hotel industry and I work between sites spend more time at one site then the other, we get bonus if we sell or meet requirements, my problem is I don't get the bonus for both sites I only get it for one site and it's not the site I'm based at a lot, I've asked about it but got told yeah it's just how things are. Second I'm told I'm working Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and Boxing Day and New Year's Eve and New Year's Day! Not impressed about this I've asked but they said there is no law to say they can't do this, that I understand but I asked if I could at least have one of them off but because 4 out of 9 staff requested them as holidays they accepted this. I've bite my tongue again. Now they taken on more staff and given them more hours then me! I'm fuming as I'm sure this is not right?? At one point I was working 6 days a week (contract is 3) now I'm back to 3 and some weeks are only one! I'm looking else were but feel cheated
  15. Ok so speaking to bank and I get no the payment was just took by haven. So it took me overdrawn! Which I know not to be true as I spoke to haven and got the authorisation ref and it the same for the one I made on the 6th, so I explained this to them as asked why none of the transactions made were declined so I would not got overdrawn by such an high amount! They replied look there is no evidence of the transaction dropping back into the account, so. Made clear I spoke to someone on the phone! And to Check call log I gave him date and time I called but refused so now I'm gonna accuse a £48 fee for this! Lesson of the day is never use your card use cash!!
  16. Oh great hubby thought we had money in account so did some shopping now I'm 151 over drawn! I was working when found out and didn't see hubby I'll yesterday after noon after work! Bank still haven't responded to me!

Yes as far as they were aware the payment had cleared and was ok, I think the bank have messed up as haven sent me an email showing payment had been received and had cleared in there account, just didn't show in pending or in statement but tonight it has, gonna call bank tomorrow to see what going on.
  18. IT got refunded to account, bank said that haven autroistation didn't go through, but today it left the account!! Will be calling bank to see what going on, I'm worried that not all pending transactions will show misleading me to the total in the account!
  19. i made it yesterday via debit card on the haven website, logging in to the bank it is no longer pending and the money has cleared back into my account. the bank has assured me that they said the payment could go but haven didn't take it Im so upset and getting stressed as the holiday is the 26/10/15 and this payment was due today or they will cancel the holiday without notice. I'm so upset I've no idea how I'm going to tell the kids whats happened
  20. help! i made a payment to Haven holidays which was my last payment to them of £389, today I logged in to check the account and noticed that they payment is no longer pending!! but been put back in the account. I'm Wondering whats going on?? this was to pay the holiday off, I'm now scared that because this has't left my bank that they will cancel my holiday. Ive logged into Haven and my account says that it is all paid.
  21. need help for a friend, Father died and left a will, the estate is worth 380.000 have been informed in the will due a quater of it, but have said in the will that the executor is do as seen fit with the estate . a for sale sign was on the property then noticed people moving in we have contacted the exeutor to find out when we get our share of the mone, have been told that she is now renting it out, according to the estate agents it is under contract and with solicitors, I have been to a solicitor before to try and get a share of the money each time that the executor is not conflicting in trust as not distrupting the will as states, so favouring one siblings over the other, yet nothing has been done and because the exectuor has not responded the solicitor says there is nothing to done.
