  1. Billing called us and have said that the dealer is doing an inspection at local garage, I then said I was told that it had been done last Wednesday, its been over a week! They said that they have to allow then to do this inspection, I again reminded them the dealer did the inspection and said there was no issues, which we are disputing as you assured us the repairs would be done we have this as an email stating the "good news the dealer have said they will repair the car" , they are now going back on this. We have been told another inspection by the dealers garage and by Billing they will not give a time frame no matter how many times we ask, I've asked for financial assistance on this as we paying for the car still, insurance and tax. Due to were we live I now have to pay for one of my kids to get to school (he has a physical disability , so he can not walk a distance) They have offered nothing but yet a change of date for the monthly payment.
  2. Vauxhall did the report and we got an email saying the dealer will repair it. Car with dealer, its on Hire purchase List of faults .DPF needs replacing as it's burning and fault line . Air con unit needs to be re gased to see if fixes fault if not will need replacing .offside rear coil spring has snapped .Oil over by 1cm potentially caused by dpf .turbo over boost
  3. Finance company are now saying the dealer says that there is no issues with car, so they asked for a report last Wednesday, and still waiting for it and that the dealer is not responding to them at all, my concern now is the dealer has gone and the car is too. I've asked for a deadline on getting it all sorted as we are losing money, they will not give one! How long do we let this continue, they took the car last Tuesday and we have to contact them for updates.
  4. When we called to sort this is what they told us , I will get them to send it in writing. They went on to say that if they did put disabled spot outside ours, it's for anyone with blue badge so our neighbour and 2 others across way would use it
  5. Billing finance got zuto to arrange collection of car, we tried to contact Billing but no answer to phones, when we do call there is no direct line to the complaints team so it's a long winded process to get through. Same as zuto but I had the recovery people constantly calling me as they only had my details.
  6. Quick update, car was taken yesterday but no one was at the dealership to take car. I had to call the dealership and he said yeah they'd gone home in the morning, it ended up Staying at the recovery firms place all night, this morning they called about 8.30 and again at 9.30 as I was working, dealership was not open and the recovery people wanted to know what i could do! I explained its down to zuto but they gave my details to them to contact me! In the end they said car will left there for dealer so no idea if was left on main road unlocked!! Yesterday, on phone to dealer he said why can't you drive it, I said the issues and that's why he is fixing it, to get, no, we're not we just inspecting it!! We were told by zuto its being repaired!! and I was assured we would have car back fixed by next week by zuto!! Now I'm told they don't know when!! was also told today not to contact the dealer but only zuto by the finance company, great but zuto don't answer their phone and when they do they leave me on hold for 40 mins then hang up every time!! We are now losing money as I'm having to pay for a taxi to work due to my hours, no public transport in area, but we are still paying insurance etc on the car and now we have no idea when we are getting it back!! No one has responded to our emails asking If the dealer has the car and to give us a rough date to get the car back once repaired.
  7. Well you think this would have been easy my partner has asked them to contact Me to arrange to collect car to fix it, they call me and won't deal with me as I'm not named on account I accept that. Partner then sends an email over to sort as he works 6am till 6pm and is not off till next Friday to be able to call them to sort, they called and then hung up on him twice so he called on his break to be put on hold for 43 mins then they hung up again!!! I called today as they got email.of finance people to sort and again will.not speak to me. I just want car gone now I have no faith with them
  8. OK thank you we will escalate it. They are awaiting a report from the medical team, and I was told no blue badge till report Is done and we can't have a disabled spot as we have a driveway according to the building plans. And if we did get it, the neighbour would use as they fighting for a blue badge space outside house, the council have said it would not be just for our use it would entitle anyone with a badge to use it.
  9. Yeah definitely, thing is its going to the garage that said repairs done at time of MOT, we have decided if don't fix them this time we will look refusing car and getting money back that we have paid already.
  10. I finally got a response they are now saying we do not have a driveway (if that the case then the building plans are wrong and all the emails we saying its ours from them are wrong) and that no one down our road has one, but yet they do its just our is the only one awkwardly laid out, to be shared with another 2 houses,we all have our plot numbers on them. We have not slept very well due to constant dogs barking and I understand that they cannot help it due to disabilities but a neighbour is shouting and screaming at 2am onwards, there carers are with them but unfortunately we are still woken up by this.
  11. Just a quick note to say that they are now repairing the car before we could do the RAC one, but have made it clear will get another inspection after to ensure the work is done.
  12. I think my partner has done his best to try sort it, and it has got too much and came to me, I'm calling RAC to book tomorrow and will sort from there.
  13. They did mot in end on 14th April 2023, mileage then was 44299, it now has 46729 on now. Before that was mot on 5th July 2022 and had 43301 on clock with advisories for the tyres being near legal limit We spoke to the garage to mot now and they said ok to.concerned that if it fails it can.not be used and would need to.be repaired before we could take or away, we don't have that kind of funds to do that
  14. OK I'll get them to sort, amd contact RAC to sort inspection. Thank you
  15. Mileage we have put on is 2340 since purchase, the dealer is 1 hour from us. We use our local protyre as it is round the corner from were we live and we have built a good relationship with the workers there.
  16. The purple part of the text is from billing finance, it starts with please provide evidence. This was after we had emailed them in morning with the report.
  17. Draft letter : In regards to ref: We purchased the car in April and on the day we picked up the car we was told the MOT was done and a full service, but with being Bank Holiday weekend, the paper work was not available but we would be forwarded the paper work. During the week, we got no paper work and contacted the dealer who explained that the garage who did the MOT and service had forgotten to do the MOT so we had to take it back up to the garage for this, My partner had to take time of work for this to be done, While at the garage my partner mentioned that the Clutch and Handbrake was not working properly, and if they could look at this. We got the MOT we no advisory and was under impression that they had sorted the Clutch and Handbrake. We did not make first contact over these as we did not experience major issues till the date 20Th June when the Light DPF came on and the car started to go into Limp mode, We turned the car off and then back on and it started no issues but was then started to burn from the exhaust and the smell of burning was strong, it was then taken home and parked up. The Air-Con had not been noticed till a week before as with the hot weather the roof was off so was not used, it was only when it was placed on we noticed it did not work. In regards to the Handbrake, it was taking a few pull of the button (as electric) to click into place, and the auto stop is not working on the car. We informed you in the 20th June we was taking it to Vauxhall to get the inspection done to see what the faults are, this was carried out at a cost and now you would like to get the garage who should have done the repairs to look over this and they may dispute this and you pay for an independent inspection, if this needs doing then We will do RAC at a cost of £254 for the advanced inspection so the Diagnostic can be carried out with this as well. Please be aware we can no longer take time of work to be taking the Car 1 hour to a garage and waiting around for work. We also have a camping trip booked for 11th August and the Car is needed for this trip if we have to cancel we lose £198 if the cost of the holiday.
  18. We informed them in morning yesterday about the report and this is their response At MOT it was just mentioned to them and I was under impression sorted I'm under impression any issues within first 6 months was there at time of purchase car, I can not afford to lose more money. Please could you provide evidence that the concerns were raised to the supplying garage, and they had attempted repairs? The MOT completed at the time of inception lists no advisories or mention of the said concerns In regard to the report obtained from Vauxhall it does not confirm liability for the issues being present or developing at or prior to finance inception. If the supplying garage were to dispute liability, we would be required to proceed with the independent inspection. The option to repair is available to the supplying garage, and we can enquire if local repairs could be considered, but these cannot be enforced.
  19. I'll jump.on to it this week, my partner has informed me that he did email them 2 week ago telling them we was getting an inspection done by vauxhall and would forward the report soon as received, they agreed to this But we will do RAC to
  20. Thank you, they say they want their garage to do the inspection they are classing that as their independent inspection, is there a way I can demand aa or rac to do this? I Will do the letter tomorrow when I can jump on computer and not use phone keyboard.
  21. Sorry it was a rushed post, I know better. The fiance company is Billing finance, whom we used zuto Brooker to get, the dealership is UK car group. Its a hire purchase loan. The car is an Vauxhall Cascada 13 plate with 40500 on clock price was 7000, We picked it up on April Easter Bank Holiday weekend, I checked for MOT and the dealer said would forward the digital one, Tuesday came and no email, called and then said oh we forgot to sort ( had mot till August 2023), had to drive car back up to get MOT . on way the clutch was slipping and that I was still waiting on the main key for car as got given spare key (the finance company ended up paying for the main key to be replaced £214) Got to MOT place mentioned clutch slipping and the electric handbrake was playing up, they said would look 20 mins later was told all ok and passed MOT no advisory. Me thinking work had been done. A few weeks later DPF light came on and it was burning fuel! But then it went off but continued to burn, then we noticed it (my words to partner its vibrating on roads really don't feel right) he took it to work and said yeah it was definitely something, so we tried dealer but no response. Contacted billing finance who asked what the issues were so we told them but they asked why we never said sooner we explained we had and was told at MOT all sorted, they asked if we could give a breakdown of issues, we did but they said would not pass MOT if had them, had to pay a Vauxhall dealer to do it Issues are: DPF diagnostics say its the sensor 1 Air-Con unit not working Suspension spring snapped on rear passenger Oil over filled potentially causing other issues Needs full service We had to pay 1£10 for this and as I had to be in work, it cost me £25 in taxi home and back, it is eating fuel it has had £70 nearly every week in it, we have parked it up. We have informed billing and they responded saying they going to contact Brooker and get them to do their own inspection on car on our driveway, (it's very limited room on our driveway I've explained this would not be possible) If their inspection agrees with issues, their garage will fix issues, my concern is this garage did the so called mot and service and fixed issues, and they would need to collect car as its a 40 min drive to their garage, they have said not possible we are responsible to get car to them only if their inspection says it needs the work. I'm confused as they asked us to get exact issues with car and send over which we paid for from a vauxhall dealer and now they want to pay someone to come my house to do it !
  22. We purchase a car in April and its got issues, we told them at MOT about the issues and they said its fixed. A month later the same issues popped up again, the finance company are having to deal with it as garage is not, they asked us for a report we paid for this from a trusted vauxhall dealer as the car is vauxhall, the repairs are over £1000 to do we sent the report to the finance people today who are now saying that the garage will do them only if they fins the issues and if need be an independent inspection! I've lost 350 so far in inspection and travel costs with it, it can not be used due to one of the issues being a snapped suspension and blown turbo /DPF we have explained to the fiancé company that these issues were reported and claimed to have been fixed by them. We are allowing them to repair it but I know it will happen again and I'll be out of pocket again! Any assistance please Thanks
  23. I spoke to Universal Credit they have nothing yet from them.which I understand, and they don't think we are owed anything as we both work.full time (against drs orders he had to as universal were going to sanction it, if didn't do interviews etc even though had sick note) but also told.if are they sort out payment, but I questioned this as last time they were due to pay me 80 in arrears and they paid ex landlord instead as he didn't get full rent from them even though we paid it and ex landlord won't give that money back to us claims he never got it, we questioned if this would happen again and they could not answer us
  24. So we did an appeal and attended the tribunal, this is outcome 1. The appeal is allowed. 2. The decision made by the Secretary of State on 02/11/2022 is set aside. 3 is to be treated as having limited capability for work-related activity. The mátter is now remitted to the Secretary of State to make a final decision upon entitlement to Universal Credit (UC) 4. The Secretary of State has accepted that has limited capability for work. This was not in issue. 5. No activity or descriptor from Schedule 7 of the UC Regulations 2013 was satisfied but Schedule 9, paragraph 4 of the UC Regulations applied. 6. The tribunal applied Schedule 9, paragraph 4 because there would be a substantial risk to the mental or physical health of any person if the appellant were found not to have limited capability for work-related activity. 7. By reason of physical and mental problems the appellant was significantly functionally impaired following a serious physical illness in April 2022 and required a reasonable recuperation period to avoid the risk of deterioration and relapse at the date of decision. 8. This has been an oral (face to face) hearing. the appellant attended the hearing today and the Tribunal considered the appeal bundle to page 125. First Tier Agency representative did not attend. 9. Any recommendation given below does not form part of the Tribunal's decision and is not binding on the Secretary of State. The Tribunal recommends that the Department reassesses within 3 months from today's date. We appealed as was told got lwrca but then taken down to lcw, when we got to tribunal they asked why appealing as it had been backdated to April but we explained was told would be some form of payment made to my partner to help, they said that there may be no payment but we did the hearing and this is the outcome . My partner was very ill April last year and was unable to work for 3 months, he had to return to work against drs orders due to financial issues . We are not sure what the above means, any help would be appreciated. Many thanks (the text is edited to remove names)
