Lowell placed my brothers account on my file!
BRIGADIER2JCS replied to bart70's topic in Credit Reference Agencies
The ICO will not take any action is you have not complained to Lowell about this. Make a Formal Complaint to: Ms Sara de Tute, Director of Legal and Compliance, The Lowell Group, Ellington House 9 Savannah Square, Leeds Valley Park Leeds LS 10 1AB. Then it must be investigated fully and responded to. The CRA's cannot amend or delete without confirmation from Lowell. -
Well that's good new! Check your CRA file for any entries on this.

Orange Default on credit report
BRIGADIER2JCS replied to survivor_13's topic in Telecoms - mobile or fixed
Alleged inaccurate data on credit files should be challenged with the creditor supplying the data to the CRA. The CRA Cannot change the data without the approval of the creditor. -
I would personally be inclined to make a SAR to NW asap.

Solicitors for rent to the Debt Collection Industry, one would really like to see the remit NW has given them!

One has to wonder if Shoosmiths are actually acting on NWs explicit instructions or are they playing there own game here? (this has happened in the past). If any data is supplied it should be a straight forward income - v- expenditure absolutely no bank statements or details of your employer etc.

Totally agree Coniff, it seems from what I am being told by friends in that part of the world that Turkey is running scared of it's own militant Islamist population should it fire on the terrorist in Syria it could totally destabilise the country. Even the " name " terrorists does no fully describe these ****.

Loads of queries about this " progressive" reporting of accounts on CRAs, the problem is the agencies have not publicised the changes.
-
Going back to post 1#. Creditors not providing SO forms, there are templates available online free to download, if you have the creditors bank details it is possible to take control and make payments at an affordable, (which can be useful if a creditor goes for litigation). I agree with dx CCA all the creditors before doing anything about payments.

Water Meter Overmetering
BRIGADIER2JCS replied to Carningli's topic in Utilities - Gas, Electricity, Water
I believe that if you have grave doubts about the meter and the WC refuses to test that Trading Standards can be involved, this " belief" come from a property we had with exactly the same problem. However things may have changed with the various changes of regulatory bodies/- 23 replies

Northampton Claim by Lowell/Vanqius *** Claim Struck Out ***
BRIGADIER2JCS replied to rita777's topic in Legal Successes
Hi a Tomlin order (Consent Order) is achieved by arriving at a mutual agreement between the parties, which obviously has not happened. Lowell cannot go " behind your back" for judgement, my concern is that once a TO in their favour is obtained they will admit there is no agreement. The Mediation took place far too early I think.- 153 replies

All the data at the data subjects addresses does Not mean this will be same for every individual, it simply cannot be so. -
Hi Bambi/ The DWP uses the DCAs because of the massive debt owed to the Government caused by overpayments, unpaid loans etc. This will take years to collect, changes in an individuals circumstances that come to attention of the DWP trigger investigation and collection activity. Changes to the Welfare Reform Act that came in in 2012 changed the way such debts can be collected, e.g. direct collection from any welfare benefit an individual receives at any time, attachment of earnings without recourse to the courts, none of these are affected by the provisions of Limitations Act 1980. I would expect your offer to be accepted.

Definitely!! But even if France was challenged by ECHR it would ignore the ruling without penalty.

A clear case of irresponsible lending imo. -
Hi Bambi. There should be a "key" to phrases and abbreviations used within the SAR documents. Perhaps this means that the files have been sorted and classified. Go through everything carefully make sure the docs provided are substantiating that you do owe this. The department will usually accept any offer of payment or may defer collection until you are in receipt of a "welfare" benefit up to and including state retirement pension. I agree with dx if there is evidence this has occurred due to maladministration use it!!
