  1. Ive got a versio of oolite on my old tower, when I get it set up again one day it will be there waiting for me. oh, one more game I really loved.. Sid Meiler's Alpha Centuri
  2. Hi DX. yup I'm on it. Thanks for your help as per usual. Ive checked, I don't think it is SB. I dont have much paperwork from the time as I ended up living in a caravan. Claim defended. letters done. good to go.
  3. oh, and the sentinel That was another firebird game. Really good. Simple but great.
  4. I had a ZX spectum, then an Amiga. I was into Elite, there's never been a game like it in my opinion. I am a little partial to a bit of clash of clans though.
  5. Ive been watching Dr Who since I was a kid (in the 70s) and I cant see the character as a woman.
  6. Name of the Claimant ? Arrow Date of issue 21 July What is the claim for – the reason they have issued the claim? 1. the claimants claim is for 7000 being monies due from the defendant to the claimant under a regulated agreement between the defendant and M&S financial services plc (no****) and assigned to the claimant (**/**/2013) notice of which has been provided to the defendant. 2. the defendant has failed to make payment in accordance with the terms of the agreement and a default notice has been served pursuant to the CCA 1974 3 the claimant claims the sum of 7000 4 C (sic) has complied as far as necessary with the pre-action conduct practice direction What is the value of the claim? as above Is the claim for - credit card (I think) When did you enter into the original agreement before or after 2007? After I would say, not sure though. Has the claim been issued by the original creditor or was the account assigned and it is the Debt purchaser who has issued the claim. DCA Arrow Were you aware the account had been assigned – did you receive a Notice of Assignment? I don't think so. Ive moved around a little bit since. Did you receive a Default Notice from the original creditor? I don't know. Have you been receiving statutory notices headed “Notice of Default sums” – at least once a year ? I have been receiving regular letters from Arrow. Why did you cease payments? Hit the buffers in the recession, mostly due to some dishonest people (thats another story!!) What was the date of your last payment? Not sure, but it has to be approaching if not over 6 years.
  7. Morning all. A rather heavy brown envelope arrived yesterday. Ive been ignoring the shoosmith letters (as to avoid "letter tennis") but they've gone for the cc. ex-M&S, over £7k. I'll get the details up in my next post.
  8. For the record. I didnt like Catherine Tate's shouty character whatsoever.
  9. All joking aside, I have seen this coming. Mainly because of "missy", and the new assistant not being attracted to men funnily enough.
  10. It's not that. Dr Who is a bloke. He IS a man. Always has been. This is nothing to do with whether a woman could or could not do the job. It's like Sherlock Holmes. The Hulk. Postman Pat. Doctor Who.
  11. They might well be. I'm waiting for a pink dalek Whatever's next. Cyberwomen? Sontarienne?
  12. The detail: We returned one dress (faulty) it was received well over a week ago, and they sent an email to say they had got it back. It's been nearly 2 weeks and no refund. Even more worryingly, they're selling stuff they don't have. We ordered a new dress to replace the one sent back. Paid for 2-3 day delivery. Nothing. No email. The days went past, and in the end I rang them (emails are ignored) Apparently there's been a "system error" resulting in them selling dresses that they don't have. Ringing them is not easy. Expect a very long wait. My advice is to avoid. A quick search on google for feedback on this company will reveal the growing problem.
  13. These guys have a major problem. They're selling stock they don't have, they don't refund, they don't answer the phone. Over the past few weeks they've sunk into a bit of a mire. If you're planning a wedding, or buying for a prom etc don't go here. If you like the stuff they sell get it from a 3rd party, don't buy direct.
  14. the figures explain themselves. 750,000 claims is making the "business centre" a lot of cash. I dont think the powers that be would want to give up on the income! anyway, that's a big stress that turned out not to be. ty for the help everyone.
  15. That's it then. So they can just fire out court claims willy-nilly with no evidence, stressing people out.... this is bordering on abuse of the court system. I suppose they could still apply to lift the stay. TY for the support.
  16. I had a letter confirming my defence. The letter is dated the 21st Dec Not heard a dicky-bird since. It says 28 days for them to respond on the letter, we have gone wayyyyyy past that. I'm assuming the court will automatically stay the claim?
