  2. Hi Thanks for replying The letter does not mention court action. I don't believe that I have acknowledged any debt to them. I have not called them or anyone. I did receive a letter from Booker Management services back in 2009 and I did send them a letter and they did reply back saying that would close this account. Then in 2013 it was passed to gpb solicitors and I sent them a letter too. This time I have replied via email to Global Debt Recovery, also forwarded the email to the oft and my MP. Regards
  3. Another letter, this time from Global Debt Recovery to my mums address asking for £386.14
  4. ok recieved a letter from Nationwide and they have declined the ppi I take it that it now goes to the ombudsman

  6. OK Questionnaire filled in and spreadsheet sent to Nationwide yesterday by post/guaranteed delivery. How long do they have to reply?

  8. Hi My wife took at loan for £5000 back in 2001 with A and L. They would not give her the loan unless she took out PPI. Can she claim this back? Regards

  11. I made 39 payments of £352.51. I then settled early and paid off £13095.45 and the insurance rebate was £2046.39
  12. I have finished as I then re-mortgaged my house to pay the reminder off.
  13. ok I have added £21.28 till Jan 2004. My third and final loan was for £20000.00. This was for 84 months and total monthly amount was for £352.51
  14. The credit insurance was for £1034.80 and the interest charged on this was £213.20. I have read you post it and I think it is starting to sink in but my understanding is still skectchy.

  17. OK Thanks Not sure if I have given the figures correctly. I took out a loan of £5000.00 in September 2001, The insurance was £740.39. On top of all this £1058.33 interest was added. I paid £141.64 starting from the 01/10/01
  18. Yes Sorry In October 2001, My first payment was £141.64 until October 2002 and this went up to £161.49 until February 2004 when they went up to 352.51

  21. I have been going through my statements, I took out a loan of £5000.00 in September 2001, The insurance was £740.39 and the interest was £1058.33. I paid until Septemeber 2002 and took out a top up loan, I was given a rebate of £539.86 insurance and then charged 1034.80 insurance. In January 2004 i topped this loan up again and took out a further £14427.59 loan. I was given a insurance rebate rebate of £758.85 and then charged £3736.89 insurance. How do I calim this back and can i claim back interest? you can claim back the interest the PPI cost you yes have a read of no.1. below dx
