  1. Can you redirect their calls to your mobile to one of these £1-50 a minute sex chat lines when they ring ??, that might cost them a few quid
  2. No, but they will be the put up jobs by one of your PPC stooges Mr Troll None of which will have had a half decent defence, " business" must be getting tougher as more and more victims go down the ignore route which you are powerless to do anything about.
  3. First things first, THIS IS NOT A FINE !! what you have is an un enforcible invoice (AKA a begging letter) it may look official, real and even scary, but fear not PPCs cannot fine anyone( they wish !) only a court, local authorities or the police can fine you and PPCs are none of these. The best advice which works for anyone who follows it is to completely ignore all correspondance from the PPC, their joke solicitors and toothless debt collection agencies who will make all sorts of threats which will all come to nothing in the end. Treat the PPCs with the contempt they deserve and do not be intimidated by their empty threats.
  4. Quote Green_and_mean:sad: "Get rid of free store parking which isn't really free its just subsidised by those that use the bus and make everyone pay on exit any money they make out of it can be used to make the goods cheaper" What a bloody cheek !! :-x who do you think subsidises the bus that you travel on ?? - drivers, who pay criminal levels of taxation just to exercise their rights of freedom to travel at a time that suits them and not be forced onto stinking buses. I think public transport should be self financing ie paid for in full by those who use it and not by those who do not, that might make our fuel cheaper !!
  5. DO NOT PANIC,, You are getting close to the end of the [problem], you might get a final notice , then a final final notice and maybe even a final final final notice !! then they go away and try it on with someone else who is more easily worried by their bullsh*t letters, D.S are just bottom feeders who get a cut off the [problematic] if you are mug enough to fall for the con. Continue to completely IGNORE, do not contact them at all and they will soon get the message and leave you alone.
  6. Better advice would be to IGNORE IMMEDIATELY then ignore some more for good measure , take no notice of the PPC Troll
  7. 6 posts in less than 10 minutes, the PPC Troll is busy this evening !!
  8. Dear Mr PPC Troll How do you manage to keep a straight face trying to pretend your put up job was a properly defended case rather than the charade it actually was ??
  9. Pathetic PPC Troll, whats up ? business so bad now that we are wise to the [problem] that you can`t afford to go out on a Saturday night ??
  10. "Take this as a reminder. Pay and display your badge next time". Troll alert !!
  11. Payment is the safest solution, especially if you did indeed contravene the on-site regulations. IGNORE the PPC Troll, ( has Perky retuned ??) just like you need to ignore the PPC [problem]
  12. Please be sure to understand these are NOT fines, they are merely speculative "invoices"issued by the PPC and they have no more legality than a begging letter, the decision to pay is optional and is dependant on the victims awareness of how the [problem] works.happily more and more people are realising that these "invoices" and the susequent threatograms plus other drivel/lies/bullsh*t can be safely ignored. Do you want fries with that ??
  13. He he, The parasites are starting to squirm, PPC ticketing does not work either -- if you are wise to the [problem] !! I have no sympathy for these clamping firms, their demise is long overdue and I will happily gloat at their loss of "income" when their ****** operations are banned
  14. My "3" contract term of 18 months is up in early January and I will be going to another network (probably 02) because of poor and patchy reception with "3". I want to take the number I have on the "3" line to my new network provider but I hear all sorts of horror stories about leaving "3" and taking the number to another network. Can anyone let me know the best way to achieve the transfer and the timings (ie how soon to contact "3" ) needed to make this process as painless as possible
  15. I see you are N/East based, if that is anywhere near Stockton you can PM me for the gearbox experts details as he is local and well recommended
  16. My daughters car had the same problem and the gearbox was removed, rebuilt and refitted at a cost of £740 but at least the overhauler replaced the crappy mini bearings with stronger motorcycle bearings that should outlast the car! these gearboxes (known as midland type) are known to have problems and mini changed them in 2004/2005 for a better unit although even the later type box is not trouble free. I would take the car to a gearbox specialist who will know how to sort it out and not rip you off like a mini main dealer would
  17. Just seen this on another website and I think the more who rebut this [problem] the better !! The British Museum seems to have jumped on the "climate change bandwagon The British Museum is holding a poll about climate change called "Prove It". They are asking people to be counted in or counted out to the proposition: Quote: "I've seen the evidence. And I want the government to prove they're serious about climate change by negotiating a strong, effective, fair deal at Copenhagen." The poll has been going for about two days and there is a running total on the website of the result. I don't think it is going as intended since the current score at 17.10 BST on 24 October is 423 counted in against 2545 counted out. The poll has been fairly steady all day at between 5:1 and 6:1 counted out to counted in. This cannot be the desired result! The website does ask viewers to spread the word so here is the website address: Science Museum - Home - PROVE IT! http://redirectingat.com/?id=42X487496&...%2Fproveit.aspx What on earth the Science Museum is doing involving itself in this tawdry PR stunt, goodness only knows. How they try and dig themselves out of their hole when they achieve the unintended result is going to be delicious to see. I suggest we all take part in the poll and count ourselves out of this hysteria before we are taxed off the roads and out of our cars !!
  18. You won`t !! this is a [problem] based on empty threats, PPcs will not do court as they would lose a properly defended case. Ask Perky, that is why he will not take up the Pepipoo challenge !!
  19. My, My Times must be getting really hard on planet PPC !! I guess legal warden in his PPC [causing problems] world will need to be looking for seasonal work at Boots or some other similar retailer but not Woolies, they went the same way a lot of PPCs will be going and that is thanks to the sound and truthful advice from this site and others like pepipoo and MSE who quite rightly advise people to ignore these unenforcible PPC invoices (AKA begging letters). Fines are something a court of law can impose and non payment may indeed result in a warrant for arrest and criminal record, in fact the imposition of the fine by the court will give you a record in most cases regardless of whether you pay it or not (this excludes parking fines and a lot of motoring offences) PPC invoices are NOT repeat NOT fines (capitals and heavy type is for the benefit of certain educationally challenged posters who seem to have trouble understanding this fact or could they be telling fibs ?? ). They will NOT repeat NOT get you a criminal record What they will result in when properly ignored, is 1/ You will have saved a wad of cash by not paying an invoice that need not and should NOT be paid 2/ The PPC will have wasted a few quid in posting out their empty threat letters (includes the bluff and bluster from the so called "solicitors, legal firms and debt collectors" (who have no legal authority or power unless they happen to have a genuine court issued warrant -ps 99.999% of the time they do not, and never will !) 3/ When posted on this site the PPC paperwork and letters will provide amusement for us all 4/ Eventually victims realise that these invoices are a [problem] and spread the word 5/ More dodgy PPCs will go out of business (if [causing problems] can be called a business) **nb I am not referring to any particular PPC here** 6/ Pie consumption will fall thus reducing the waistlines of some of the PPC fraternity (with consequent savings for the NHS) **nb I am not referring to any particular PPC proprieter here** So you see, ignoring a PPC invoice is a win-win situation and should be done in each and every case you know it makes sense !! A PPC invoice is about as useful as a handbrake on a canoe !! PS mods please do not remove LW, his posts brighten up an otherwise dull day, my sides are still aching after reading his contributions to this thread, in difficult times we could all do with a bit more laughter !!
  20. No they cannot just tow your car, they will threaten you with all sorts of awful things up to and including : pestillence, plagues of locusts and warts, but that does not mean these things will actually happen. These companies and their "debt collectors" (just another name for some other ****** in the office) rely on making empty threats to timid people who they know will worry about their bullsh*t and bluster. The advice given here is sound and based on many years of experience dealing with these scams, do yourself a big favour and save your money, take the advice, ignore the [problem] and stop worrying !!
  21. Would this "document" be the PPC wishlist document ??
  22. Perky, I think you may are being "economical with the truth" when you state only 8% of your invoices are never paid, and I think your attempt to appear reasonable is an indication that the message that ignoring PPC invoices is getting through to the public, your takings are falling and panic is setting in. The PPC business model is based on lies and threats and more and more recipents of your un enforcible invoices are getting wise to the [problem], hopefully before too long we will see PPCs going bust (the sooner the better in my opinion).
  23. Wow,yet another erosion of rights, I wonder how many choose not to fight a fixed penalty notice because of this !
  24. I thought motoring offences were not considered Criminal (apart from Drink Driving). they do not show up when doing a CRC on someone
