  1. Not sure where me thread has ben moved to, as was advised it should be elsewhere. However, I am prepared to go into detail if anyone is checking this thread. Please advise. Thank you.
  2. Knowing Newlyn, they won't sign for it if they see Complaint written on it. Funny thing is they have their post redirected anyway! Bit fishy.
  3. Sorry to hear of your nightmare. However, I can top it, with a visit from 3 bailiffs in one go! Anyone beat that:p
  4. If you PM me I can give you details of some very helpful advice before you put your form4 over to the court. All the best. Put the Reg 46 in, thanks to the fantastic Tomtubby. Called the court and was told it was to go befre a legal advisor to see if they thought it warranted a case before a judge. They will call me. So let's see what happens now! Will keep you updated. As for the surveillance team - if this was the case, then they would get it right in the first place and not levy indiscriminantly on cars in the street and take pot luck. When the judge asked wether they did a DVLA check they had to admit they didn't (but put in the report it was happening imminently). Bit late after adding £181 onto my account and all this hassle for a car not even mine or on my drive. Bunch of muppets! Funny thing is they came back saying that the car was not registered under anyones name and this is a regular occurance. Shame on you DVLA for not doing your job right!
  5. I intend to compose a letter asking for a refund as this was mis-sold to me. Can anyone advise me of any legal wording that I should use. Thanks.
  6. As long as you can prove you are on jobseekers (not sure if it has to be income based or not), but they come to your house and ask for proof of JSA along with any proof for Child Tax credits. They then ask if anyone in the house is working and if so will base the amount that has to be paid on the wages coming into the home.
  7. ???????????????????????
  8. I have had several dealings with Newlyn over the years. Off the top of my head they charge a whopping 5% (if I remember correctly). AM awaiting a SAR so will soon find out, but I know it was a very high figure. Let's see if they declare that with the screenshot!
  9. Should we attach a copy of the letter from Cabot where they state that they cannot produce the information?
  10. From experience this is the usual nonsense Newlyn approach. You can file a form 4 against Newlyn claiming that they refuse to give you the name of the attending bailiff. They soon cough it up in their report! PM me if you would like a contact at the court to send it to and a judge who is dealing my case against them for exactly the same thing.
  11. I'm sure if my memory recalls that Newlyn charge around 5%. Which is totally excessive. Wait till my SAR comes back with all the info.
  12. They told me they had a warrant and never gave it to me. DId not give me anything when they clamped my car. Did not give me a levy even when they took my car! Told me I have 7 days to pay. Annoying thing was I had sold it on ebay the week before, but they said that as it was probably still registered in my name it didnt make any difference. They are digging themselves a deeper hole!
