Thanks. Need to know about the interest bit asap please. The line in the template where it says - I calculate that you have taen £xxxx plus £xxxx which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. Total £xxxx. How do i know what is fees and what is interest ? As above i mentioned that on the statements it just says Charges as notified. Thanks Rob

OK thanks. Unfortunately, i think im gonna have to try to claim it back in 2 attempts as i have hardly any funds to use. Ive worked out a date to go back to so that the claim is £4900. Ive filled out the Request for Repayment letter ready to post. It says on the bottom of the template that i should include the spreadsheet for the charges inc interest, but i thought that this should only be sent if the bank want to defend the claim in court?? Do i have to send a breakdown of when the charges occured ?? On the statements it just says Charges As Notified and doesnt actually say what the charges were for ( failed dd or overdraft etc ) Thanks Guys Rob

Thanks for replys. Jonni - have you any idea what sort of costs are involved with fast track? unforetunatly, at the moment im broke but if it came to court i could find the £120 for small claims. Not sure what to do. Obviously a refund of £5000 is better than nothing, but kinda feel that if im going to try and get £5000 back i might as well go for the whole lot. I'd need to know what costs will be involved if i lose and what i need to pay up front. Anyway, thanks again for advice. Rob

Received Statements Today. Had a Halifax account for 15 years so i ordered statements for the last 6. Added up all the charges and it came to .......... :o £8,146 :o What should i do ?? I'd rather just make the claim thru the Small Claims Court. Should i make my claim for say £4900 as a goodwill measure ?? Or go for the whole lot ?? Advice please.. Thanks
