  1. Pre lim sent for part 2 of my claim on 30 August - £3400. 14 days until LBA goes out.
  2. Agreed, although i did send a letter thanking them for the offer but it would only be accepted as an interim payment and i will continue to seek the rest back through the court if neccesary. Then continue as your original time scale. Rob
  3. How do i donate? I click on the link at the top but it doesnt log into paypal? Is there an email address i can use to send payent to?
  4. Thanks all, good luck with all your claims. Srray - I didnt put the figures in the wording, (it lists them underneath anyway). Your wording looks ok to me - at the end add "at a daily rate of £0.06" Rob
  5. Money was in the account same day as letter arrived !!! Claim for the rest already under way.
  6. Thanks. How do i inform the courts about the claim being settled? Can i do it through moneyclaim site?
  7. Hi, I was in same situation as you 4 days ago. Today Halifax settled in full. Stay calm, the end is in sight. Rob
  8. Not 100% sure but on mine i just listed the charges. Rob
  9. Yea, hope the money goes into account before they open prelim letter for round 2
  10. I WON !!!!! Well, Im in shock!!!! Just receiced letter telling me theyre paying me full amount inc all charges and interest within 5 days.Total £5200. Only 1 week after moneyclaim issued!! A Big thanks to all who helped with my claim, only sorry now i didnt go for the whole lot!! (Yea i know i was advised to!!) So, prelim sent for the 2nd half of claim (another £3400) Donation on its way as soon as funds appear in account.
  11. Letter received today, they intend to defend. 28 days and counting......
  12. Spoke to lady at moneyclaim today who said not to send spreadsheet to them. Advised me to wait the 14 days to see what Halifax want to do. If they require more info then i can send it to them. On a side note, had a call from Halifax today asking why my account was overdrawn by £300. Told them it was due to the unlawfull charges they had taken from my account. She said "ummm.. well... can you make a payment?" Told her there was no need as im in the process of claiming them all back. She seemed satisfied with this!! Strange people.
  13. hi, sorry no updates, been away for a few weeks. Moneyclaim sent yesterday but coudnt see where to attach spreadsheet? Does this matter? Ive issued the moneyclaim anyway. Should i email the spreadsheet with my claim number to moneyclaim? Hope i havent done this wrong. It cost me 250 to issue!! Thanks Rob
  14. thanks mechs but i meant the whole paragraph, or does it not matter? obviously i have the dates and amounts just wasnt sure how to put it all in writing for moneyclaim. rob
  15. Think im all sorted now on my claim and interest. Moneyclaim question.... Have read on the forum somewhere about the wording that should be used in the "Particulars of claim" section, but now i cant find it. Can someone point me in the right direction please. Thanks
  16. Quick question.... When submitting final claim including all the interest charges, what interest charges do i add on from the spreadsheet? Ive got : 8% on penalties - £267 // interest on penalties - £27 // 8% interest on penalties £1.90 Do i add them all up then add the total to my claim?? Thanks
  17. Sorry, another quick question. When submitting final claim including all the interest charges, what charges do i add on from the spreadsheet? Ive got : 8% on penalties £267 / interest on penalties £26 / 8% interest on penalties £1.90 Do i add them all onto final claim? Ta
  18. Erm think so... The £27 is interest on penalties. The £267 is 8% on penalties. Another question.... Im gonna be away for 2 weeks in 2 weeks time. If i wait a week to submit moneyclaim and then they say they'll defend (which seems to be the norm), i should be back by day 21 of the claim. This sound ok? I will have internet accesss when im away. Rob
  19. Sorry my mistake. The £27 is interest on the charges and not the 8% interest. The 8% is another £300. Ive amended the original letter. Thanks guys. Rob
  20. The £5k was amassed over the last 2 years, added all the interest, comes to £27.
  21. Actually the extra 7 days is for my benefit. My claim went over the £5000 so its gonna cost me £250 on moneyclaim. No money this week. Also, are there any examples of the wording used on moneyclaim, seen a few on here but the wording varys. Thanks
