Do I have to accept Unpaid Fare Notice

Sorry but I'm struggling with this. The fact that you're suppose to have a valid ticket before you board is clear enough.- 22 replies

More like 2-3 weeks pay but thanks i will get her to do that
-
Thanks guys. To be honest she could get more on JSA but she would have to be sacked to get it if i remember correctly. This is partly my sisters fault she use to work in a care home in Banstead earning £800-900pm but was so unhappy she just left and worked there, she doesn't tell us anything she does and when we question her she gives basic answers.

thanks everyone. I agree with your points. Problem I'm facing is my sister has learning problems and she doesn't really have it in her to do that, I'm worried if I get involved or my parents do then they might sack her.

She gets rotad in for 30 mins or 50mins by her employer

Hey everyone. My sister needs help. First off she has learning difficulties and doesn't fully understand the situation she's in. She works for a care company where she goes to peoples houses to help the elderly with there daily things. She's on £7ph, the problem I see with this is they will schedule her to work 30 mins at a house and they will only pay her half of her £7 which I can slightly understand but what annoys me is she has to pay for her own travel nothing discounted or anything. She spent 5 days a week leaving the house at 8am getting home around 9pm and in 3 weeks only got paid £171. I do not think this is fair and was wondering if this is allowed.

Friend wants to claim Unfair Dismissal
bg5067 replied to bg5067's topic in Employment and minimum wage problems
Update my friend went to the employers place to sort it out and didn't get anywhere. The employer is now saying he walked out and he shouldn't pay him a weeks notice. He is now trying to take him to court for wrongful dismissal. Even thou everyone has told him he can't really do that. Is there anyway he can prove he was let go and should try and get minimal wage -

Friend wants to claim Unfair Dismissal
bg5067 posted a topic in Employment and minimum wage problems
Good Afternoon, I'm first going to apologise about my spelling, I'm not very good at that that. My friend has been working at a car garage for 3 months, He got the sack/laid off as he caused minor damage on a Bentley. which was easily repairable he advised me. However he feels this is unfair and the manager never follow formal discipline procedures. he advised if I read it correctly, he wasn't advised on any verbal warnings but his boss advised he was on a verbal warning. he walked passed him and the boss said "can I have a word" took him in the office and said "not going to beat around the bust, Friday I'm letting you go" That's the story. I told my friend he cant really claim for Unfair dismissal as he hasn't been there for over 2 years, but he was told by "CAB" that he has some rights is this true? -
I'm having trouble locating there website to look at T&C's. if you can provide them or a website i would like to look at them. A lot of insurance companys that offer liftime cover with a flat xs will apply for each unrelated condition with that policy year and when the policy renews the xs will apply again for that year. If there's a % then that will usually apply to all claims regardless of continuation claim or not.

Hey Tim, I actually work for a large pet insurance company, May i ask who it is you're insured with?

I think (and only think) if you havnt reported this debt on the bankruptcy then you are liable for the debt but i think thats the case i may be wrong.

I think you just have a bad office by you lol my local WF office is in sutton surrey and the guy reduced my payments over the phone know problem but iv heard alot of people in your situation and are really to put it bluntly p***ed off, but those people did what your sisters partner did and stood their ground. Its just a lesson that has to be lernt when dealing with welcome and well basicly never deal with them again. your doing the right thing just stand ya ground they have to understand peoples circumstances change and sometimes they have to adapt.

done sorry

As i said i dont work for hfo just saying what i have been told and my own experiances in dealing with them im sorry if i gave the wrong impression
-
I don't actully work for hfo but i have had dealings and i know a few people i dont claim i know anything about them im just telling what i have been told if im wrong then i apologise
-
sorry missed a bit out their they wont pass it on unless yo u refuse to pay which will be passed to their own employed soliciting ferm and when they buy debts the original comapny sends a letter telling you its been sold to hfo and hfo then send a letter to tell you they have bought and taken over your debt.
-
Ok im sorry about the spelling but hfo is not a DCA their a factoring company so they own the debt the wont pass it on to anyone unless they refuse to pay, say for instance you have a debt with barclaycard and hfo buy the debt that means they own the debt a good thing about hfo is that they freeze any interest added unlike debt collecters who do add their not their to force money out of you and that person who was rude to you on the phone was wrong to say that but were are alot better to deal with the DCAs
-
hfo isnt a ordanery debt collector they are a debt purchasing company they own your debt so they have full control of it and they can get, people round your house and by law their aloud to make 3 answered calls aday and they have their own soliciting ferm so they can back up what their saying.
