  6. Can someone please tell me the difference between a Preliminary hearing and a directions hearing? I was told over the phone to the courts i was to attend a directions hearing, but the paperwork states: Take Notice that the PRELIMINARY HEARING will take place to consider allocation and/or transfer to the Mercantile Court. I was adviced at first to take a draft directions to a directions hearing, shall i take this now it is a preliminary hearing?? All advice would be great. Thanks
  7. In the Statement of Evidence template on here, it mentions to show examples of where i have been charged twice on same day/next day, or once i just went over my overdraft by a small amount. Thing is, my statements only show TOTAL CHARGES, once a month, adding them all up.....not on what date they were refering to. How would i do this?? Thanks
  8. Miss Oceania from this site very kindly posted me a copy of the T&C's of HSBC from 2003. I have the use of a scanner at work so if anyone would like a copy emailed to them PM me, or if any moderators can have a quick look at them for me to see if they will go in my favour that would be appreciated! Kelly
  9. For my draft directions, where do i find the the following bits of info? c) A statement of evidence of all matters relied upon as tending to show that the charges are irrecoverable as penalties or otherwise; d) Copies of decided cases and other legal materials to be relied upon. Are they in the Sample Court Bundle?? Also........for all other info i have been advised to produce, do i put these all together in a folder, 3 copies?? ie - Witness Statement, Succsesful claims spreadsheet....... Help!!! Thanks Kelly

I work in a team of 3 and the 2 other girls i work with are both already booked away on holiday that date! I rang the court to tell them and they said i have to put it into writing and ask for the case to be adjourned and a new date given! Is this going to look bad against me with the judge? Any advice would be grateful! Thanks

  15. Hi I just rang the court to chase up my claim and they informed a letter has gone out today to inform me of a 10 min "directional hearing" on the 17th July. Does this sound right? When do (if!) the banks decide to settle?? Usually once they recieve the court date themselves?? Thanks Kelly
