Hi Can anyone tell me the legalities on recording business calls do you have to tell them on picking up the phone or putting a reference on website be sufficient TIA

Hi Not me but posting for a friend he received court papers for a business debt the debt was paid off on receiving the papers but they want the court costs i take it he has to pay these, he left this late now he has 1 day to acknowledge the debt via money claim online Thanks in advance

Nothing has been prosesses even the court staff phoned the uw and found them useless and didnt know there left from right hand, not my words but shows you

The court has no confirmation so looks like i will be there first thing

Ive had a email saying now im in credit with uw and they are no longer applying for a warrant should i still go down to court?

Hi i have replied to then stateing this ammount has been paid off in full, i can see no balances online on my account and for no further charges legal to be added to my account i dont know what to do ?

Yes the out standing was paid to them they are still chasing despite and looking to add charges also they have added a charge for home visit , no one has been

No they only refunded the ammount for 16 months just the insurance cost no interest, and still continueing taking me to court for a warrant of entry despite being paid off many thanks

Hi i have a court hearing due on wed for warrant for ppm for gas so looking for any advise or help first i am self employed and broke foot last dec i had problems paying i called them to ask to set up payment plan i was told no and that i had one prev year and was just in time limits to set up a new one they would take legal action and would do no more i have paid off these monthly amounts although a struggle noticed i had income protection with them i emailed them to be told that they probably would not look at it and they would continue legal action i emailed andrew lindsay and told him i disputed my acct as i was paying insurance that would not be considered and their treatment of me i asked to be refunded this insurance. And also proof of my injury which left me unable to work i got an email back saying they have credited 16 months to my acct although i havent seen it online and they are continueing legal action i paid the amount in full as i was up to my back teeth with them but they are still planning legal action for ppm from an email i received yesterday is there anything i can do?

Yes i did complete the course as i said i withheld the last payment because of the discrepancies & no reply, i will pay the final payment as i have had it up to the teeth with them (next month) but not paying for money they say i owe which they should of seen my bank statements by now that i sent to the solicitors

Ok this was homelearning coll, show being 2 payments late as in June 11 No defaults just after that not updated i have 3 payment dates that month & one payment was for July accounts, certainly wasnt the june account was paid by the 10 of that month

think i will be reviewing the card statements!!

Yes just checked & it does show but not updated

hmm my credit history isnt great, i dont think it does show as i tried to open a business account back in the summer & was refused because of late payments to credit cards, nothing was mentioned about anything else, i will have to get a new report

Hi I received a demand for a debt i dispute so called these Guys to explain the reason i disputed the debt which i kept a record of all payments to the creditor but the ammounts differed to what i have & what they said was owed, i sent the original creditor an email (which I have a copy of ) to request full statements so i could see where the difference came from, however they never replied so i with held the last payment which is £56.25 i explained this to HL Solicitors & they requested copies of my bank statements which i sent copies to them showing the payments the email & an excel spreadsheet of the runnning balance, by recorded delivery. i received a letter saying my account was on hold, while they investigated, but i am still receiving calls from them asking for payment & going through the same questions & for the same info i have given them, the bank statements etc & they seem to know nothing more even though i keep saying that the account is disputed & they said to me that it wasnt their responsibility to go to the creditor & investigate, they are saying i owe more than this, Nearly £200 ok i will pay the final £56.25 this next month, i cant find the original documents showing the original amount as this is going aback to 2008/09, is their anything i can do to stop them harrasing me Thanks

Hi finally starting to get somewhere with the council although they threaten me with you have to pay this ammount or we will start recovery & its affordable £6 extra a week, if i tighten up a bit more, but at least its progress Thankyou for your help, i just thought i would update Copier x
