  1. JUDGE DREAD ! GIMPER OR GENIUS ? What if the judge is actually on our side ? Surly Kev is in a far superior position to force his bank into the witness box then Mr. Brennon . If he appeals it will have to go to full disclosure, wont it ? And the bank will find it differcult to squirm out of it by chucking cash at kev especially as they are being appealed against rather than litigated against and are now very much in the public eye:rolleyes: ......just a thought !
  2. Kev, my heart goes out to you and I will sell a vital body organ on ebay if that’s what it takes to ensure funding for your appeal. However, as down as you may have been when you first heard the judge's ruling has any body considered how SECHIARI CLARK & MITCHELL must be feeling (the bank's solicitors). Spare a thought for them, what could be perceived as a major victory for UK Banks and all attained when they couldn’t be ars(k)ed to turn up for the gig ? Wow, I don’t know how much LTSB are chugging them every year in fees to look after their legal interests, and Lloyds get their best results when SC&M are not there! Great value to the bank and share holders alike! I would like to be a fly on the wall at their next performance review! Should we start a pay pal account to help the senior partners who: "retire on health grounds" in order”to pursue alternative interests" ......BIG ISSUE anyone?

  4. CONSPIRISY THEORY A friend of mine works in the information commissioners office and she reckons they are getting around 350 complaints a day about non compliance with the 40 day rule, so don’t hold your breath on a quick investigation of your complaint by ICO. Who benefits by creating this mayhem ??? So every one is too busy to help you get to the bottom of your claim & what do the banks do ?.. offer you a reduced amount for a quick settlement in full and final...so who is really benefiting from the banks dragging their heels and not deploying more staff to deal with the situation...yep THEOSE PESKY BANKS . Want to know how to benefit from the delay ?? Turn the situation to our advantage stand fast, wait and insist on contractual rate interest so the longer they take the more you make...then see how quickly they deploy staff to sort out the mess (which they created) once they realise their £2000 "extraordinary profit" in bank charges is costing them £5K + (and this is the thing that will focus their attention) £4.20 a day in interest ...."take as long as you like Captain Mannering" & "why dont you waste some more money on a HBOS advert HOWARD ?" why dont you try adapting the words to "We've got all the time in the world?"
  5. My mate in Glasgow is claiming 6K+ for 6 yars (not 5) by using a cardiff based solicitor/agent from the Martin Lewis site called EDIT. As they are not based in scotland they automaticly go for 6 years (and probably more now) They have argued juristriction of claim (and won) so the claim can not be transferred back to Scotland even thouigh its a Scottish domiciele litigating a Scottish Bank (when its not Yorkshire or Australian that is). Oh yeh and the company put up all the fees (as they will get them back any way I suppose) and as they take the interest as their fee my mate will be banking all of his charges for no hassel. Of course if you want the interest thes guys are not for you, but my Scottish mate is the type of person who probably would not see this through to court if he were doing it on his own and the bank would have either got off "Scott Free" (pun intended) or he would have accepted the first derisory offer that clydesdale made so they would have won in my book, which wouldnt help the cause much, would it?
