  1. The number was unobtainable and the PO Box address was closed 6 months ago. Hence, I couldnt contact, or know who had my car, I had to loose a days work today and walk around the area today asking locals if they knew who to contact. I was lead to a garage where a fellow called the bloke on a mobile and I spoke to him. Its a bit like a ransom and my cars been hijacked.
  2. They wont refund, and by Law they can charge what they like, which happens to be £425 that was due to be paid by 5pm today to collect the car, at an address that will be made available to me when I pay. However I was unable to get that amount until tommorrow, so we roll over and get it sorted, day 2. I will then have to make my way to wherever the car is after work to collect it, which in my case will be early evening. Great racket, if your happy stitching up ordinary people everyday for silly money, and they must have made silly money very quickly being that greedy. Its totally screwed up my week, they have no concept. Calls grow for probe into clamping firm (From Haringey Independent)
  3. Calls grow for probe into clamping firm (From Haringey Independent) hope this link works if the other didnt.
  4. G:\independent article car clamping co.htm I just got my car stolen, (clamped and towed apparently) in my absence. From where I left it, on a road with no signs to suggest otherwise and no yellow line. It was gone when I returned. There is a sign (as I later discovered, after looking) that a local shop owner told me about. However, having returned home and checked out online how this is able to happen. I discovered its a great little earner for the person behind it and absoluteley nothing that I can do, bar pay whatever this person asks me to, to get my car back. The contact address on the sign is a PO Box number and the phone number didnt work either. Id like to know where my car is and who has it. I can not get it back till pay day and thats over a week away and already spoken for, so I dont need this obstacle presented to me, and at a time when I needed my car everyday this week. The sign also says it takes no responsibility for damaging cars while removing them, and my car is vinatge and mint. I am therefore worried what might have happened to it. Seemingly neither the police nor the council can do anything to stop this and I wondered whether anyone else has dealt with these people, whoever they are. What money they paid to get there cars back and what happened to them, their story? I can do no more this evening and will have to make some contact tomorrow. Apparently they have already been in the press and they are a security co called Sangro Security Ltd. Can anyone help!
  5. im confused...outcast or not, if she is a beneficiary then she is entitled to benefit. If as executors you are choosing to be biased towards her and not include her, then she has a right to challenge your conduct as executors or apply to be one herself giving reasons why she thinks your not doing your job properly. Or is it that, she is deliberately withholding items that are meant to be shared amongst others and she is not co- operating with you and the other beneficiaries your representing? Sorry trying to understand your dilemma.

  12. I bought a return ticket through Rail Europe for tickets to be used in France for a journey I was taking. I never used the outbound ticket in the end as I got a lift to my destination, but returning, the train never arrived leaving me no option other than to take a taxi to continue my journey. I was trying to get to the airport on time and had no alternative as I would have missed a plane at the airport. When I got back I wrote to Rail Europe with photo copies of all receipts asking for a ticket refund and re-imbursement of the €120 taxi fare. In the letter I said I would send the originals once they confirmed theyb would reimburse me. They replied they would deal with a refund once the paperwork was recieved, so I duly sent the tickets, taxi receipt off by recorded delivery upon their request. Rail Europe then said the tickets were purchased from SNCF so were not there responsibility so had passed them onto an agent in France at SNCF to deal with. I wrote to say that they therefore now had my evidence in effect and asked for contact details of who was dealing with the matter where they had sent them. They then said they could not do that and did not know who was dealing with them but that I should wait to hear and take it from there. Having not heard a word back, I then went down to Rail Europe's London office with copies of all correspondence and insisted on being dealt with by the manager. The manager tried to contact another head office who said the process can take up to three months to be acknowledged from France and I should still wait as it was normal to take that long and people get paid back. Four months later, still no word from anyone and as SNCF are part of Rail Europe, I dont get it....Have I been fobbed off, or has anyone had a similar experience and can advise the best thing to do.
  13. Lost ! How do I get into live chat forum, has it gone crusher?
  14. Sorry Mark, wish I had seen this before and here am I over a year later looking in. Are you still around, what happened in your situation? Apologies for not having been able to assist when you needed help, as going it alone is something I know only too well so would gladly have lent an ear .....let me know!
  15. I also think its unfair that a solicitor has to be used and that you can not represent yourself in such matters, as getting justice here could prove to be costly and I have an awfull feeling it might.
  16. Ok and out of interest, how many months have passed since the deceased passed away?
  17. sorry crossed post there but still reply please chit chat...
  18. Yes can you tell us who you have addressed your complaint to and what they have said. Are you saying that the Probate Registry has written to the executors directly following your complaint giving them a time frame to respond back as answerable to them, having granted them probate. Or have they given you any specific forms to use or procedure to follow to make a complaint and have the accounts auditied. I am guessing the only accounts they can audit are the ones that have already been declared. So how would they be able to deduce whether there were other accounts or amounts undeclared, cashed in or stashed without clear evidence, as any accusation without proof is hypothesis.
  19. What was the Probate Registry's reply to your letter Chit Chat?
  20. Ahhh Mizzpiggy.... I dont get in here that much, but with regard to Alison, as you seem to know her so well perhaps you can pass on her contact details as id like to make contact with her..
