Hi, I worked for a tv company and bought a tv from them, paid monthly, nothing signed it was all a verbal transaction, The tv ended up being faulty and went back for repair. I left the company on bad terms and now they keep sending me bills for the tv (over a grand) saying i havent paid, I have paid for it and the tv was never returned to me, do i have to pay ? can they do this ? help please im desperate

what comes around goes around,my eldest is 21,im only just getting payments from my ex (via csa), after years of being fobbed off,baliffs are going in shortly and im happy about that,when i lived off a bag of spuds a week (no joke) so my baby could eat well and he partied the csa ordered him to pay £5 per month his words were thats the way the cookie crumbles,well now im finally getting paid and ill give every penny to my daughter like he should have done in the first place the loser,chin up hun what comes around goes around x;)

Long time no see lol,the DPA letter worked all of a sudden it was all systems go,i got a few months payments until he was made redundant,baliffs moving in any day as court has ordered it,seems to have taken forever but im getting there and i wont give up x:cool:

Is it possible to sue the hospital,my baby was born 14 months ago,i have still never got over it it was horrifying,i have since been diagnosed with ptsd for which im recieving treatment,basically i was induced,2 days later my cervix still wouldnt open yet i suffered the contractions and pains,my waters were forcibly broke, they eventually got a monitor on the babies head,i had an epidural which left me unable to move from the waist down but i still felt the pain,the midwife left for refreshments so another midwife took over,shortly after she called somone to give thier view of the babies heart monitor,which was going down and down and down,i was screaming at anyone to explain what was happening but i might as well have tot been there,eventually there were 12 staff in the tiny room with me and my partner the registra was called in to help,everyone was just buzzing about,i begged for a c section but was ignored,when my babies heart rate was ???????? basically flatlined, they tore him from my body with forceps a midwife and my partner were told to hold me down this is a long story made short and has been very difficult for me to write even this little bit,after all this time. My baby survived thankfully but he was trapped inside me because the cord was twice wrapped round his neck his torso and his wrist, I always think if they had just scanned me could they have seen the danger ?? My life nor my families have ever been the same since,I relive the horror everyday via flashbacks,i am on medication and see a therapist and i do feel on the mend,but i know ill never be the same person i was before and all because of this experience,I had a birth plan that was totally ignored can they get away with what they did ??? sorry its so long its the most ive ever gone into it before,and for the record this was my 4th birth all the other 3 births were fine,just this last was like something from a horror film thanks for looking,col123 x

keep the diary going and ring ACAS,they are really friendly and helpful,the behavior of these people is unacceptable, dig your heels in keep your head down and if poss go above them and put in a formal complaint you have to follow the grieviance proceedure,ACAS will help put your mind at rest and tell you what you can do,keep your chin up hun your the better person here x x x

Put that in the diary hun,I was bullied at work too,keep a log of everything,keep your chin up,I ended up leaving after the grevience proceedure and the rest,They settled out of court (tribunal),dont let them get you down, look for something where you will be better appreciated. Go above thier heads and complain formally in writing,also ring ACAS who will help,kind regards col

Thanks palomino, the second cheque hasnt been cashed yet but i only sent it a couple of days ago,no the debt hasnt been sold to them,it was just the word DEFAULTED it scared me to my core,(sad i know) but i cant bear the thought of another 6 years with that on my file ive had them before even when debt was satisfied,like i said this is my last debt,if i could pay it off in full i would but i cant afford it at the moment. Is there a template letter to send them that basically says I know the law and will report you to whoever if you dont stop it ? Im paying the debt off its not like im running from it but ill be damned if i give my money to **** sucking bullies. I actually might try to pay them online next time would i need thier sort code and bank number though or would i just do it on united utilities website ? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi im being hounded by moorcroft whos latest letter says ive defaulted on my agreement to pay them 40 pounds a month,ive never agreed anything ive never even spoke to them,moorcroft dont own the debt they are collecting for united utilities,can they put a default on my credit file or anything at all? It has previously been with robinson way and concillia,who cleared off after a few of your helpful letters. I have written to united utilities to tell them ill pay this directly to them but they said no but cashed the cheque for part payment i sent them,i have since sent off another cheque but I refuse to pay a DCA basically because they threaten me with alsorts and try to ruin my life,this is my last debt but im afraid now of what moorcroft will do to my credit file,ive tried so hard to get out of debt and when im on my last hurdle i fear i may have a default because of them,please can someone help me ? :sad:

Hi update the FOS have replied basically they cant help me,apparently they cannot consider the actions of a debt collector when collecting non regulated debts,as its for a utility bill they have no jurisdiction to consider further. also now moorcroft have decided to collect so robinson way have passed the buck again,im seriously thinking of letting this go to court i cant see any other option,has anyone any last ditch ideas for me please ?

Hi i was just recently ran into by a cocky young lad in a white works van,he tried to cut in front of me missed his target of rd and hit my car,minimal damage,he tried to drive away but got stuck behind another car,he pulled over when i called the police,he argued the toss threatened me for half an hour before finally giving me a third party paper from his workshe refused to give me his name though ,i took photos on my phone of my car and his works van(no damage to his),however i informed my insurance who now tell me the other driver did not report it to his company so there is no proof,but i can pay my exess lose my no claims by claiming off my own insurance and they will do their best to chase it up from the other party but it could take 6 months :o,and there is no guarantee that they can do anything as the other party have no report of any accident,i was just thinking of cancelling the claim can i do this or will it still affect my insurance it doesnt seem worth the hassle,help anyone please im desperate

Hi flick I wouldnt hold your breath on that one i have my own thread on these lot, 3 times ive had the letter saying they are no longer dealing with the account and yet they still keep writing to me my complaint has gone in to FOS,so robinson way have now changed the ref number on account and continue to harrass me starting from scratch,it never seems to end with them,i wont be beaten though regards col x

update, Ive not heard anything back from FOS yet how long is it normally before i should get a response ? Robinson way have changed the reference number and started to threaten me again,notice of legal proceedings and passing to solicitors letters so far YAWN !

Hi all my other half today got a letter from the scary people at moorcrofts pre court division collecting an overdue amount of 54 squids apparently due to bulldog broadband,they send him a legal requirement notification of INTENDED LITIGATION :o before legal proceedings are issued. the letter fulfils that requirement even if it is not actually read by us :grin: . SO THERE LOL, In all honesty we have no knoledge of this debt what so ever,bulldog gave us appalling service and we complained didnt renew our contract,they have never once tried to contact us by letter or phone or any way,so this is completely out of the blue,shall i cca them? ,any help appreciated,thank you x x x x

complaint to FOS on way, in mean time im had another letter from rob way, apparently they say this debt will not go away and it will stay registered until payed,also it will ruin my credit rating if not payed, are they allowed to report on my credit file if they are collecting for someone else ? also can they keep chasing this while its still in dispute ?

Hi reply to my complaint is as follows dear mrs col123 thank you for your letter we believe our letter dated **/**(copy enclosed) and our subsequent letter dated **/** explained our position fully.For any further clarification you should refer directly to united utilities. We can confirm that this is our final response in this matter,however as this complaint refers to a utility issue and not a consumer credit issue,it is not covered by the financial ombudsman service. yours sincerley robbingscum way. Any ideas on my next step ?

Hi there are no CCA deadlines as its a utility bill,i need a full and final from hayley before i can move my complaint to the next step,but she is ignoring me again and robinson way have started the whole process from scratch again, x x x
