  1. Sounds like bank statements? Hope it goes well for you.
  2. Yes thats fine, i have used online statements although they do only go back 5 years i believe?
  3. Please look around the site, i beleive the idea is now to claim as far back as you can. The barrier of 6 years appears to have been lifted, seeing as the charges were never justified you could still make a new claim for your older charges. Look around there is a few articles on this. All the best
  4. I do, Karl vs LloydsTSB, only added it today. I keep saying "good luck" when actually luck is not needed as the charges are already known to be unjust, so - All the best
  5. Hi i am about to send my LBA and am also expecting a £750 offer. This seems to be the norm with LTSB and usually they pay it into your account without you knowing. It also appears Lloyds do hang on as long as possible in comparison to other companies. You will find many topics which suggest this. Best of luck.
  6. Statements got online, requested from bank with no response, claiming back 5 years. Claim Amount - £1,181.13 Preliminary Letter sent - 12/04/07 Response Received - 26/04/07 - Standard letter response, says its not a penalty charge but a service charge. LBA Sent Recorded Delivery - 27/04/07 Address - Lloyds TSB Andover Service Recovery Centre Charlton Place Andover Hampshire SP10 1RE Address appears to be the place to send requests for bank charges refunds.
  7. I have a unsettled default on my credit record from Vodaphone from 2003/4 cant remember which. I sent them a letter and £1 for copies of the ducments. They banked the whole £1 and never sent anything back! Very funny i tell ya. I also moved house around the time they did that, i had cancelled the phone in december but they continued to try to take my money out on dd through an account i had closed. Leading to a default. I have now got annoyed and asked experian to sort it out for me like they have with others. All i want is who owns the debt now and i will pay the balance if they remove the defualt, that will be funny, will let you know if it works! Regards,
  8. Thanks for that, i guess i had better request a breakdown of the hours they spent. "Our Time" is a little vague!
  9. Hi, i have recently moved out of a property and the landlord has made some deductions, was hopoing you lot could help me as i find one of the deductions a little confusing. Breakdown as follows, written exactly as the landlord has written it:- Deposit - £892.50 Oven tins - £12 - Acceptable Toilet Seat - £20 - Acceptable Garden Clearance - £60 - Acceptable, i had agreed they could charge Carpet Clean - £90 - Little extreme, stain on lounge carpet thus Acceptable Our time (4 days) - £200 - Not acceptable Extra 4 days rent - £100 - Acceptable as other party in house couldnt move out on date he should have That is the breakdown, i see no reason quoted for them to charge £200 for their time, especially as its obvious they didnt clean the carpet and do the garden themselfs. Other marks on walls etc i would assume is classed as wear and tear, we had been there for a good two years. Any thoughts on this? I am thinking of disputing the time they spent, maybe ask for a breakdown? Cheers Karl
