    Argos CCA received??

Don`t worry about it mate. Like you say, your not paying them while they are in default, so let them waste their sad, miserable little lives away with their stupid letter`s. The OFT probably won`t be bothered with you to be honest. Your just a little tadpole in an huge ocean.
  2. Yep, I agree with mc`s comment above. However, I think it is better not to offer them a penny. A friend of mine 4 years ago agreed to full and finals and paid £25,000 to clear debts, or that`s what he thought. The banks had sold on the remaining outstanding balances to other agencies who are now chasing up these remaining balances. He is even on a PayPlan with around £2,000 left to pay. One of the original creditors is Egg, and they themselves have set DCA`s and Solicitors onto him, after 4 years. If you have a dispute then I think it`s best not to give an inch. If you pay you lose, if you dispute and go to court you could win. There is no such thing as morals in this day and age. They are all out to rip you off and trap you into a lifetime of debt. These **** of the earth get away with far too much, simply to protect the government. I mean, who cares about the goverment? They are parrassites too, they are worse than the banks. They take jobs in Parliment so they can rip off the tax payer. Why should they be able to claim expenses? I have to pay to get to work, so why can`t those bums? Like mc states, it`s a Consumer protection act, NOT a numpty, incompetant, parrassitic Bank act. Rant over (for now), I`m going for my tea Ciao for now. N.P
  3. Exasperated, Could you possibly point me to the relevant post you are mention please? I`m also interested in wether our arguement would be suitable for fixed credit, as I have a Egg Loan. N.P
  4. Well, if you haven`t signed it then you don`t owe anything
  5. Tell them again, what data you require, IE: ALL of it! Tell them they have 14 days to supply this information. Then, if your still not happy, send them a Letter Before Action, and give them another 14 days. Failing the above, you could then issue them with a court claim to get the required information or contact the Information Commisioner. You could also put in that you are aware that they are going to be sacked with the other 5,000 idiots, but you still want your information
  6. Evening people, Just to say I got another stupid letter from Lloyds TSB this morning. It is exactly the same as in Post 539, except it has November, instead of October. N.P
  7. Hah hah, glad to be of some assistance. Just remember, they are just people, not very nice people, but they can be beaten all the same They are told to lie!
  8. Tell them, EVERYTHING IN WRITING! Do not speak to these gimps. If anyone comes around, DO NOT let them in, they are nobodies. Like you say, they need to get a Court Order, unless you invite them in and give them the goods, which of course, you won`t. If anymore of their empty headed knob jockeys bang on your door, you could always open the door and bang on his face, and then close the door and lock it! If you have paid over a third or more of the agreement, the goods are yours, it says so it their own ripp-off agreement. Other then that, they will need to sue you in Court, which would probably be a waste of time for them. If anyone rings me, I always abuse the worst I can, and they soon get the picture and stop calling. It`s my phone, my line and I pay for it, and I`ll speak to these bell ends how I seem fit! These **** of the earth parrassites should be bombed with Lloyds TSB!
  9. helpseeker2009, What is this alleged debt for? Credit Card, Loan, Current Account etc? When was this account opened? And when did you last make a payment towards this account, if at all? You asked them for a Statement, so they have sent you a Statement. To be honest, you should have ignored these imbeciles untill something more interesting dropped through your door. This could be a phising letter. It is up to them to prove this is your debt! Simple.
  10. Hi sg and cB, Thanks for checking in. I haven`t actually contacted these fudge packers yet, since they`ve had the account. Why would I want to? They`ve had all of my accounts, and they don`t seem to catch on that I`m not giving them a single penny. I think I`ll just wait until some dick comes around, then I`ll seriously abuse him. I`m getting bored with all these stupid letters now. I mean, lets look at what the last letter says. If you don`t give us any money we may tell our client to contact their Solicitors. What again? That means, there is no space in the world for these stupid companies. Why doesn`t the goverment just close them all down, extend the dole que with the unemployable idiots that work in them, and let the creditors take us to court for their money? Enough of the rant. I`m tired, I had a long night on the PC last night, LOL. Catch you gals later. Ciao for now
  11. They FOS will probably take too long to do anything, if they do anything at all. Trading Standards are just as useless. It seems all the powers that be and Judges are now starting to take sides against us all in order to protect the finances of our pathetic country. Just keep up the In Dispute letters and they should eventually give in and pass it back to Egg, who`ll in turn pass it on to some other bunch of nerds.
  12. Evening all, Dear me, another letter from Morecrap. These people are really boring the hell out of me. Saying that, I must admit I`ve never had one from their so-called `Home Collections Division`. It goes something like this - Is there any point in replying to these amoeba`s yet? Or should I just see if anyone comes around then knock him out and chop him up into peaces and feed him to the pigs? Maybe bury the big, daft, treble chinned, empty headed numpty under the patio and build a garage on top? Or, I could just knock him out and take his tattoo`s off him
  13. What about a `Powered by the Consumer Action Group`? Fighting against financial terrorism!
  14. I don`t understand why anyone would want to discuss an account with a THIRD party. They are nobodies, nothing more than pieces of ****, the sort of stuff you`d scrape off your boot. MC`s friend: Whatever it is, put it in writing. If it warrents a reply, you MAY receive one.
  15. Hi Mann01, Just thought I`d tidy it up a little Dear Morons, With reference to your recent letter dated 20 Oct 2009. I am pleased that you are agreeing to refund the PPI in full including interest to the sum of £4590. However, I will only accept the refund in the form of a cheque, payable to Mr Mann Mann. The PPI was delibrately mis-sold to me, and I do not agree to any off-setting of this refund. I look forward to receiving £4590 within 14 days of this letter. On receipt of the refund I will then decide my best course of action. Yours Faithfully
  16. Evening gang, Right, out of the blue, a couple of days ago I got this rather interesting letter from some goon at Lloyds TSB. I`m not really what to make sure of this, but I haven`t wrote or rang them or anything else for about 20 years now. They are silly people and I can`t be bothered with silly people. I`m still waiting for a copy of the agreement they accused me of breaking between myself and them, I also want back EVERY penny stolen from me in charges since the birth of this account 24 years ago + EVERY penny of interest on EVERY charge, at their own silly, extortionate rate. Nothing wrong with that is there? N.P
  17. Yep, another bunch of idiots with another bunch of nonsense. They should be bombed with all the others
  18. Hi mc, As far as I can see, they don`t appear to be connected to Egg. They are registered with Companies House and also have a valid CC Licence. However, also under OFT guidelines, are they not supposed to take payment via Credit Cards? This is effectively paying one debt while creating a larger debt. Silly people! 4 days to pay £5,000? No doubt they will have sent the letter 2nd class late last week, in the hope you call them with 1 day left to pay up, or die. I`m not so sure if they are the Specialists they claim though.
  19. If you are happy with your original Loan, tell them you will only accept payment via cheque, to be deposited into any account of your choice. It is your money and you will use it as you decide, not them. If it was not for their greed you would still have that money. Also, I`d be VERY warey of changing agreements. Wait until they cancel the original one, then tell them your not interested in another
  20. It may actually be a true copy of the agreement they hold for your account. Now, that does not mean the agreement it was taken from may be valid, if you know what I mean?
  21. Hi cB, me little bombshell, Good to hear from you again. Well, **** have already had this account twice, but they wouldn`t play with me and flicked it back to Lloyds. It just seems this account is doing quite a few laps, even more than my Argos account, which has been around more than my ex lass Can I say that? Anyway, who cares? N.P
  22. Heh heh, Hi lexis, Yep, I know exactly what you mean. These imbeciles are actually starting to annoy me now with their constant silly threat letters, it`s like they are insulting my intelligence, and every one elses they send their junk mail to. I feel like grabbing hold of a couple of them and sticking one of their empty heads up the other clowns arse. I`ll save my yellow envelopes for a professional, it there is any
  23. I was under the impression you had 6 years to claim from the point you realised there was a problem. IE, if you realised last week you had money due, then you have 6 years from last week to enter a claim. Also, didn`t the unfair trading regs begin in the mid 80`s? I`m not exactly sure when, but my point is this - if they were brought out it was because traders were obviously playing foul, in which case I would at least try and claim from the birth of the account, as foul play was present before then.
  24. I was thinking that, but it`s good to get other opinions (did I spell that right?) Good to see your still around. I`ll wait untill I get a proper letter from a proper Solicitor, I have a few suitable templates saved. Thanks again bud. N.P
  25. Hi Curly old dude, Haven`t seen you around in a while, I hope your doing well So, another ignore you think? Or is it worth a response?
