I am going to try this with NatWest on old loan account and current account that I held in Guernsey before I moved north ten years ago maybe I should start a new thed on this topic ?? Ideas Suggestions welcome post to stonedecroze v Halifax2 or PM me. thanks
  3. Thanks Tilly. where do yo get your super smileys from?
  4. :o I just noticed I`ve got a snottie !!! :confused:Where did that come from ??
  5. Hi Helen, they are the sticky labels that you can put on your letters to bank. that let every body know what you are sending the bank, and that CAG is on your side say things like Prelim request LBA , just to let the Postie and Howard`s mates what you are up to, prob serve to get them all nervous. anywat rhe look good on the Envelope and only £3.50 to a good cause. :D:D Where does everybody get the super bouncy animated smileys from?
  6. yeah you are right Tilly I forgot that one as they have all returned the Postal Orders to me. Maybe cos I sent all my SARs to branch and not Head Office. :D:D:D
  7. yeah your prob right Ja-de. In most large organisations people get promoted to the level of their incompitence
  8. I put on mine total charges plus spread sheet interest up to date N1 lodged at County court then interest per day worked out by adding charges and interest then mutiply by 0.0022 this gives daily rate. then on N1 in value section as follows value Charges £xxxx interest under s69 County Courts Act 1984 £xxxx Court fees £xxx ( you can also put any O/D interest that they have charged here ) total £xxx Plus interest pursuant to S.69 County Courts Act 1984 from the date of issue to the date of Judgement/ settlement at £xxx per day ( this is worked out by charges + O/D interest x 0.0022 this give pence per day) OR at such rate and for such periods as the Court deems just. do not copy red bits. This is just me trying to be helpfull :o:o:o I had same prob DK I just put dr as per their list then when /if they ask you in court to identify them tell them its your list, and that is what i was asking for in my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) and if you don`t know then how am I supposed to. and it will not be you that looks stupid :D
  9. ;)Good evening ladies I`ve been catching up on the threads that I have following ( this gets addictive doesn`t it.) and it appears to me when I took my first action Haliprat`s were easy they paid me in full after LBA next I took on and NatWets and was told they were a lot more difficult, but they weren`t they paid in full after LBA also then started on Howards mates again and they have been giving me the runaround still have not supplier full info asked for in S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) but have given me just enough to get on with. Sooo am I right in thinking that they are taking turns to be B*****ds and village idiots, sort of you be mean this month and I`ll be mean next???:confused:
  10. . I don`t think you are a total idiot DK, just learning your way around things just click on link below for spreadsheet (Just type over the details on it), DO NOT DELETE THEM OR ELSE IT WILL NOT WORK, then you can fill in details of your charges starting with the earliest. Then drag mouse over columns date, details, amount and interest to end of your charges and print it, might get box asking "do you wish to print all or selected area" choose selected and away you go. If you don`t you will get about 4792 pages of cr*p ( I did the first time ) http://www.consumeractiongroup.c o....eadsheets.html POC is "Particulars of Claim" to be found on page 2 of form N1 for some good templates see threads by Tilly, Seasidelady, Dursary to name a few or even buy the small claims pack or small claims proceedure book which are usefully displayed on the left of this message, they are both worth it !! I also found the CAG stickers seem to get a quicker response from the banks as well ( No i`m not on commission:rolleyes: ) at least I don`t think I am, could try asking sometime. hope that helps and remember stupid people do no chase the banks to get their money back
  11. Ooh !! :o and I`ve always held him in such high regard. theres me thinking it was what I used as the name for Na**y we**ty
  12. Ooh !! :o and I`ve always held him in such high regard. theres me thinking it was what I used as the name for Na**y we**ty
  13. Hi Minx, it`s up to you really, How much are you claiming? what stage have you got up to? look up the Faqs on this site read as many *WON* threads as you can then decide what you want to do. It`s your money and if you want Howard and his mates to have some of it then all good and well seriously though you should start your own thread going and if you have problems then just post a question, THERE ARE LOTS OF SUPER HELPFUL FOLKS QUEUING UP TO HELP YOU. Good luck with whatever you decide, and keep us posted. :D
  14. Hi Grant, welcome just ask one of the moderators to start a thread for you, (thread; your own message board ) then read up other threads as much as you can, ask questions if need. you will learn quite a lot from reading other peeps stories. I knew nothing when I started out on my first (it seems to me the banks paid up easier then) I won first and second before taking court action and I have just lodged third with County Court. You will find lots of very, very helpful folk on this and there is always some-one online to help at all times. Just stick to it don,t give in and remember it`s your money. good luck and keep us posted. :D:D
  15. :o OMG! Surely they can`t do that to you, Overflow not after all you have been through. You could always try sneaking money they have put in your account out. (just to be safe) not that I am encouraging you to be dishonest or anything like that. I suppose that they could always sue you for it in the small claims court, and you could throw the same c**p back at them that they have been throwing at us. Seriously though I hope that they do not, I`m keeping everything crossed for you. GOOD LUCK & KEEP SMILING !!!
  16. They might respond earlier cos in my letter from I.C.O. they seemed to be getting miffed with the big H
  17. Sorreee Dursary, I nicked your moving thingy, send you a click when I get a spare one
  18. Don`t worry You will get one soon enough when I.C.O. sends them nasty letter and they will reply to you with list and usual 40 cr** letter. (mine took 87 to tell me about 40 day rule that I grassed up for to I.C.O) Do they think we are STUPID?? BTW I.C.O. would be better advising CAG as best route, rather than FOC. just keep rigidly to your timescale once you get going.
  19. Hi Jen, :)I had same from Haliprats and complained to I.C.O. they moved pretty quick informing me that they were not the correct dept to go to as I should have gone to F.O.S. (Financial Ombudsman Service) as this is "the most appropriate organisation to assist you when seeking to settle disputes about unfair penalty charges" but they did look into my complaint and I had a list of the charges with dates and amounts for Howards crew the same day. dont Know if there was a connection cos 27 days later I got the same list from some-one else in the same department, I am still waiting for statements but used the list they supplied from then on, prob for 2 reasons 1. they can`t argue with it cos it is their list, and 2. I plan to use this fact to show County Court that they are using delaying tactics and ignoring regulations laid down to cover the way that they are operating their business. I filed my N1 today and am realy looking forward to my day in court. Good luck with your claim and keep us all posted.
  20. Hi yossari69 Just follow the guide lines, keep to your timescale and read up as much as you can on this site, that way you will learn how to proceed to through each stage If you are stuck or confused or just feeling the pressure a bit just ask. post your questions on this thread and help will come running. There are some great guys and gals on the site that will help BTW I sent Postal Orders with my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) and they were returned to me, but I did send them to the branch and did not bother with Trinity Road until L.B.A. , so just maybe it is worth sending S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) to branch for every-one you might save yourself a tenner, I did the same with NatWest with the same result. Good luck with you claim and just keep on plugging away and please keep evey one posted on how it is going
  21. :o I have just noticed that some of you nice peeps have been clicking my scales :o Thank you very much they are all appreciated, but probably not really deserved.
  22. Hey you are right SSL it does feel great!!! :pThe nice lady at the court said It will be entered in list today and should be served on Howard and his dozy mates on Monday. Cant wait, I feel recharged and raring to go.:lol:
  23. Well, wish me luck folks. I`m just setting off to County court to file N1.:o Won`t be long now, (I hope).:lol:
