  4. Hiya Thanks for your support. I have been pursuing this since Feb 07 with the letters downloaded from the moneymatters web site i.e. asking for list of the bank charges etc, I received a letter 4 weeks later saying we are looking into your complaint and will get back to you in 40 days. I then received a letter saying the Terms and Conditions of your account etc. I then decided to file a claim online for £5600 with £250 costs. I have just received a letter today which stated that as a gesture of goodwill they would pay me £3065.50 this is a full and final settlement and I would receive this in my account in 14 days. Its very tempting to accept it, but I'm still in 2 minds at what to do, bearing in mind that if I had charged them interest it would amount to over £6500 Still pondering. Will let you know what happens Thanks
  5. Hi I am claiming back 5600 from the Halifax with money claim online and I have just received a letter saying they will pay me 3000 in full settlement, what should I do? Anybody been in same situation? Please help

  8. Hiya I'm new to this but I have been trying to claim my charges back since Feb 06, I finally got a letter stating that when I opened an account I agreed to their terms and conditions which explained these charges would be applied if i did not keep to the terms of the account. blah blah blah if you remain unhappy you can refer your concerns to the Financial Ombundsman Service. Should I give up, or should I start court proceedings my claim is £5,702.00 plus interest which is £1,009.42 please help tearing my hair out now Thanks:confused:
