  1. 192.com accesses external; databases. You need to get yourself removed from the databases you are listed on to be successful. 193 do not hold the data in the conventional sense (like 'Google') they only provide links to it.

so the dvd disks they sell are not loaded with the data only the links!!!!

so even when they are told to pay up they just ignore the fos and it screw the customer as usual

and my reply to this letter

Thank you for your recent letters about my case

I have read through them and world like to make the following points,

I have tried to respond to both their voicemail and letter by ringing the number provided and after going through a complicated automated service. I was told that my accounts were not held by the customer support unit, by the automated system, and I must ring the general enquires unit.

When I did so they were unable to tell me why I was being asked to contact this unit as it was never in their letter why I had been asked to contact this unit, as they understood this unit only normally deals with accounts which have a” serious” debt with the bank such as overdue loans and mortgages or bankrupt accounts, and nothing was showing on the records that my account had been “ called in “ as they put it, on the information they were looking at, and they were very sorry but they were unable to help me.

Also I was recently in my own branch to talk to the bank to add my wife details to my current account, as recently when I was in hospital, she was unable to make a withdraw from my account.

At no time was I offered any advice or offered any help, in fact I was embarrassed when the person dealing with my request as they looked through my accounts records, that were held with the bank and my two loans I had out in the past with them, told me I was hurting my chances of obtain any further loans or any other services from the bank due to my account being in constant arrears and racking up quite large charges and I should stop wasting money.

I am still awaiting the outcome of this simple request to be made and my wife’s card to be issued after over 10 weeks.

The bank was made aware in January 2007 that I was going into finical difficulties when I was made redundant, as I went into my local branch , and informed them I had lost my job, and I was told they would send out a letter in due course for me to see somebody at a larger branch in Sunderland as they had nobody in my local branch who dealt with those issues. I never recived any such letter, and only when I had payed off the two loans late last year, I which I had at the time in 2007 did I find out I had PPI on one of the loans, which I could have made a clam against, for nearly 3 years which could have helped my financial position greatly as I was paying out £85.26 per month that I did not need to if I had been told I had the PPI to claim against.

I was not in a position to make a formal complaint about this at the time as I was unaware there was anybody to complain to, and believed there was nothing the bank would do to help me until I was in a really serious position and facing bankruptcy .

    Yours faithfully

  4. i have a case in to the fos about my charges with lloydstsb as acording to there own sysatem i was a hardship case but was never even sent a acnoligment letter and this was before the long hold,

i found this information by pure accident as a read the other paperwork i was sent when i asked them for all the data they hold on me abiut a year ago now as i prepayed to isue another court case, when it looked like we were going to win.

now after nearly 6 mounths of the usual , "your case is in the cue" i recuved this letter today,

    2010-06-17-1958-46.jpg

now if the adudicator has found them to be at fault and they have ignored her then why does it need to go further up the ladder, surly she has the power to make them pay up?

  5. This site and others like it have also a lot more sinister uses than ID cloneing, via this site my wifes Ex who has a history of violance found out the address we had moved to on advice of the police, even though we were not on any widely published data, as they had pulled the infomation from "Other published adress and name databases" as they told us , and our laison oficer did her nut when she found out and also told them to remove her details and ley her office know that their personal details were also on display. A lot of these people are active police officers who work on very sensitive cases!!!!!

  6. I dont think I am alone here but

i woulds love to see how these costs for cancelling a contract are made up, and the justfication behind them, as to me this is amounts to daylight robery

we are geting at least 4 calls a day from cabot and they have so far ignored our leter to them to stop calling, and we will deal by letter only, so i am rarther mad with this whole situation

  7. so £600 to cancell a contract is fair....... all because a sales girl got her hooked on a phone the talked her into geting a contract phone, when she knew my wife did not have a bank account, just wish we still had the paperwork ..

well all she can offer is £1 per mounth as she has no income and= we live on my disability benifits..

  8. a close frend of mine works for a retail company which recently went bust and closed most of it shops. thje remander have been saved by a takeover, by the original owner and a bank from india.

she has discoverd from another worker who used to work in other shops that 2008 and probably 2009 national insurance has not been payed even though it was taken from wages. she now despretly wants to get out but it afraide she will not be able to claim anything due to no fault of her own,

    what should she do

  9. I agree wholeheartedly.

There are undoubtedly some people who claim disability and sickness benefits when they could work, just as there are undoubtedly some people who claim unemployment benefit when they could get a job, but I for one am sick to death of being made to jump through hoops, repeatedly, to claim what I am entitled to claim. Why should I be made to suffer because there are, and always will be, some dishonest people in the world? And even worse, why should I be made to feel guilty every time there's yet another news report on 'benefit scroungers'?

I'm not obviously sick or disabled - there are some days when I don't even feel sick or disabled - but there are also plenty when I do. No one ever expects to have to give up a much loved and satisfying career at 41, and I'm still getting over the sheer waste of all that training and experience. The last thing I need is some jumped up jobsworth suggesting I retrain for something else, since they're sure there is a job out there that I can do.

I'm sure there are plenty of jobs out there that I can do - the difficulty is finding an employer who will give me one. I can't guarantee being able to be at work more than two days a week - and which days will be a lottery - and if I do make it, I can't guarantee being able to stay for more than an hour or two without falling asleep (the medication necessary for me to get anywhere tends to have that effect).

I for one would much rather be earning my own living than accepting handouts from the government, but realistically, no matter how much help they give me, I can't. So, leave me alone and stop making me feel like a fraud.

i am in a simler situation as you "somebody who would love to work" but as i have a mental health codition all i get when i try to work is politly told the posation has been filled by somebody else.

I struggle to live on my benifits as i refuse to give them the answers i have been told to give by "frends" as i dont want ever to be called dishonist but i get realy angry when i hear "sutch and sutch" is geting money for this and that and i am turnd down every time.

  10. around 5 years ago my wife cancelled her contract with vodaphone in writing after she was sold a contract phone by a shop sales person even though she had no bank account and gave them mine, i was in to chnge accounts to a new lower acount which i also cancelled at the same time as i had been made unemployed due to a long turm ilness and she thought that was that as she never recived any leters from them again. now cabot financial have pop up there head looking for over  £700 :eek:mostley made up of a "cancelation" charge of over £600.

is this realy the amount they charge to cancell the contract that was realy a miss soled but we now no longer have any paperwork for these phones as they seem to have be misfiled as these ompanys always clamed
