first up hi to all, great site.

 

i've had the "I'm sorry to advise you i am declining your complait." lever basically saying they will not be paying back my fees, this is after i sent the second letter. they also sent me a crappy "helping you to understand our bank charges" leaflet.

 

what do i do next, just need alittle guidance.

HI Top-one and welcome,

 

It looks like you are at the same stage as me if your last letter was the "Letter Before Action" (LBA). In which case you now need to submit your claim to Court.

Halifax replies with standard letter (dated 21/04/07) saying they have 8 weeks to reply.

25/04/2007
Stage 2 LBA letter sent by recorded delivery giving them 14 days to comply.
15/05/2007
Initial reply from Halifax saying they will reply no later than 18th June 2007.

11/06/2007
Standard letter received from Halifax disagreeing with my argument against charges.

25/06/2007 Filed small claim for charges at Lambeth County Court - awaiting return of N1 form.

Hi

I was at the same stage as you...sent the lba off once i recieved the 'cant help letter' and leaflet! i sent off the lba about on 1st of june have had a letter back today saying as a good will gesture they will pay £607 into my account. Im not accepting it of courese cause they owe me £1200...but at least its the response ive been waiting for. You just have to push that little bit further!:rolleyes:
