Hi all

well got another letter from abbey different dept. this time now from Banking specialist team a Andrew Nanson, saying that they are "sorry i am still unhappy with the company" and that they have 4 weeks to look into the complaint, and that it may take longer. This has been going on and on i have 2 letters of this kind and one with a offer of £35 they owe me around £2000 in charges and they think i would take £35. Anyway shall i just go for the small claims or give them another letter offering them to pay up? also they sent me a complaint leaflet to write to the correct dept. so shall i contact the complaint team or the banking specialist team? also the debt was sold on to a debt collection agency, and abbey a few weeks ago told me to get the charges from them, whcih i knew was wrong and a letter i sent to them said this, i am so annoyed i started all this with abbey months ago, and they are taking so long to get back to me , anyone good at sending nasty letters to get somewhere? if you are could you help me please?

Your title said 3rd letter to Abbey, what letters have you sent?

If you have followed the FAQ's and have sent the LBA then continue with your claim with your time scales, this is just a standard letter from Abbey so ignore it. I cannot stress the importance of reading and understanding the FAQ section, once you start submitting claims in Court you really need to be aware of what you are doing, if you don't then you could comprise your claim

Regarding the £35 offer you need to write and reject the offer sometimes they send offers as full and final settlement so watch out.

Here is a link to the rejecting offers letters chose which one best suit's your claim
