Hello all, I've not been on here for a while, thought I'd get some cash back from an old visa account. Posted a SARS request including a £10 cheque to:

 

Yorkshire Bank

Card Services

PO Box 4509

Leeds

LS2 8NP

 

On the 27th March. Today I recieved a letter asking me to write a letter to

Advice Quality Unit

3rd Floor

Brunswick Point

Leeds

LS2 9BH

 

Including a cheque so I can get what I requested.

 

Is this right, or utter bollocks? I just want to check before I call them up and tell them the clock is ticking regardless.

I found the right address, granted its put me back a few weeks but it's still worth it.

I have been reading other posts to keep up with other peoples progress. I have noticed that Yorkshire bank respond to the SARS request with a timescale for statements etc. My first SARS request followed a letter informing me I had the wrong address. So as above, I sent another SARS request with another £10 fee. That was two weeks ago. Since then I haven't received a letter of confirmation or otherwise. Also I checked my bank account, no check has been cashed.

 

What should I do guys? Should I wait the full 40 days or contact them to remind them?

 

Any help is appreciated. My only concern is that it wasn't recorded so it's possibly lost.

YB have replied to my pre-lim letter. They basically said were not paying a penny blah blah.

 

Looks like LBA in the post tommorow.
