I have sent a CCA to the original creditor (Cetelem). They received this on 20/1/07. I have received no reply. Recently sent a letter to DCA with copies of the correspondence. They have passed me on to their legal department who have given me 7 days to respond or they will file. I realise that this may be a bluff, but should I CCA the DCA too? Is it worth getting a deed of assignment as well? Is the statituary fee for a deed of assignment also £1?

Thanks,

Phil

i'd would also make ref to the a/c being in dsipute now & that it should be handed back to the original co, and they need to go away.

they are not following the guide lines

dx100uk;)

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
