I have a list of bank charges totaling £1187, should I send it to RBS as 1 claim hoping they refund before I raise small claim action or split it in half and send them 2 claims at the start of action. Iknow there is a max of £750 for small claims in Scotland where I live. Hope someone out there has an answer for me.Ta:)

The courts in scotland are starting to stop people claiming twice on he same account by splitting claims, as it is an abuse of the system.

You would be better going down the Summary Cause route and do the whole lot at once.

There is a scottish section on the site which will give you all the info you need, read up on past posts and get a good idea of what you need to do.

No reason to split anything anyway at the start. You are just asking for your cash back after all, and haven't started proceedings. And hopefully won't need to either.

Oh, and you've accidentally asked this in the successes sub forum. Which hasn't happened. YET. :)
