Dear Mrs Littlies,

Thank you for your e-mail dated 24 February 2006. I am sorry to hear that you have not been happy with my response to date. Unfortunately there is little I am able to add to my previous correspondence and I can only refer you back to the terms and conditions of your account. I do however, respect the fact that you have your own opinion about our charges.

This letter is the bank's final response, which means that if you remain dissatisfied you may refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. If you decide to pursue your complaint through the Financial Ombudsman Service you must do so within 6 months from the date of this letter. You can contact them at The Financial Ombudsman Service, South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London, E14 9SR. Telephone: 0845 080 1800. Website: http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk

Yours sincerely

David Just

Assistant Manager

Hmmm. So then my reply was:

Dear Mr Just,

Thank you for your reply. However, this is not a case for the Ombudsman as

it is not a complaint about a service but in fact a request that all monies

which are legally owed to me be paid to me by 3rd March.

The law does not allow punitive charges to be made and your terms and

conditions cannot over ride the law.

I therefore wish to reiterate that if no settlement of the full charges

owing are made either via cheque or directly into my account by Friday 3rd

March I will commence court proceedings against you for the full amount plus

interest charged at 8% and costs as stated in my previous email to you.

yours sincerely,

Lotta Littlies

Let's see what happens next.

Lotta

(Personally I don't believe that anyone called Just aactually exists. I think that it is only a nom-de-plume)

Maybe someone should srve them each with a witness order and the see who turns up at court. It'll probably be an old Amstrad computer and dot-matix printer!!

I believe these were commonly named "Joyce" by their users, not "Just".

Pitty he's not called William Just, then we could scream and scream until we're sick and he'd give in. (I bet hardly anyone understands that one).
