Firstly, I hope i have put this in the correct place.

Now then, my problem.

Back in Feb i sent an e mail to homecall after contacting their "customer care" dept to cancel my broadband. This was sent on the 22nd Febury. I never recieved an email back but assumed it has been cancelled. I then recieved a bill through and i was being charged for the broadband still!! I phoned them today after recieving another bill with the broadband still on it to see what could be done in the way of a refund.

I was told they had never recived the e mail, and the broadband could not be refunded as i had used it! Absolute rubbish. I now have a laptop which is not connected to the internet in my flat and and the home pc which was connected to the internet is sold.

Homecall are claiming because they never recieved my e mail they cannot do anything about it! Grr. i'm just going round in circles.

To top things off, i asked to speak to the manager and he got angry and started to actually shout down the phone at me. I could not believe it! Its fair to say i am leaving homecall for the new talk talk plan.

Do you think there is anything i can do?

Cheers

Dan

Do you have the terms and conditions of the contract to supply broadband?

If so, what does it say about cancellations?

Do you still have a copy of the "sent" email?
