Abbey have charged me over £150.00 for telling me that there were not enough funds in my account for the mortgage payment. They did not accept the mortgage payment - hence I did not go overdrawn but they charged me £35.00 + interest for not paying and telling me. The initial letter has just been sent and I await to see what their response will be. Not helpful be the postings here. :(

As if I would! No I find that my typing doesn't always keep up with what I think I am writing, hence the surreal results. I am actually still hopeful :D that Abbey will respond positively but the results of others does not seem very positive. However I will continue to pursue this as the account is only in the red because of their charges. And that ain't fair. It's like Robin Hood stealing from the poor to give to the rich.

The initial resonse to your question, might have illiceted a less than favourable response than that you required.

The reasons might be, either the way your question was posed, or you have to bare in mind that the main contributors & moderators of this site work extreamly hard on this site putting in more than 100 hrs per week

please bare this in mind if you have less than a favourable response to a question that may have been already asked.

And also dont forget that this site may be subject to Troll activity!!! please be aware of this

And bare in mind as this site grows, from recent evidence so might the Troll activity from the Banks and relevent authorities, please bare this in mind people. and try not to post under your name or any name identifiable to you. as its for your protection!!!!.
