hi

Ive been looking at the site for while now, and have sent prelim and then lba and received what appears to be the standard go away letter from the money grabing lloyds.

So i guess this is where it gets interesting, i now need to file my court claim and am a little confused about the best way to do it, online or with the template letter? and which court ?

never used a forum site before so im not to sure how to get into the lloyds sections ? any help from someone who isnt quite as useless with computers would be much appreciated.

Also just wanted to say its great to no that there lots of other folks out the who share my outrage at what the high street banks get away with.

The took over £700 of me whilst i was at uni, and the resulting stress infinding them taking chunks of money out of my account which would then send me over again was huge.

They say it funds free banking for everyone else however its the people with the least that get hit hardest, kicking someone when there down.

Anyway rant over

go to main page and scrol down untill you see your bank. also so be careful about what words you use as this could get you in trouble. this is a puplic site and the banks are known to look here.

Hi Jon

The LloydsTSB forum can be found here :

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/lloyds-bank/

It's alot easier filing your claim online via the MCOL website. They will serve the papers and transfer the claim to your local County Court once a defence has been entered. If you haven't a debit or credit card then you will have to do it at your local County Court.

Also, refrain from using words like "stolen". It libeous (is that spelt right?) and could have consequences for the site.

Hi Jon986

You can get back your charges, but it takes time and patience. Also try and not add words which acuse the banks of illegal activity. The charges are Unlawful not illegal.

Before you start please have a thorough read of the FAQs (there’s a Step by Step guide here too). You should print both of these out to refer to, so as to avoid having to ask basic questions later.

Then look at other threads in your bank’s forum, so as you know what you can expect to happen. You can claim back your charges, and a few are trying for the payback of Early Redemption Charges on loans and Mortgages.

You need to spend 2 or 3 days gradually getting your head round everything. If you find a forum/thread/post of interest, save it in your Favourites, so as you can always find it easily.

There’s a lot to take in, but it’s time well spent and will ensure that you succeed in your claim without problems. Remember it’s not a race, don’t rush, just follow the guidelines one step at a time.

This is a self-help forum and you must be prepared to put in time and effort. It is your claim, your money and you cannot expect others to do all the work for you.

When you feel confident that you understand the process and the various stages involved, start a new thread in your bank’s forum and post your progress and any questions there and you’ll get plenty of help. The Lloyds forum is here:

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...se-read-these/

There are more links below to assist you get around the site.

Good luck
