So you never sent Link a CCA request when they bought the card debts off Barclaycard?

who says these debts are event enforceable?

you should never ever blindly pay a DCA anything on any debt

they are NOT BAILIFFS

and have

ZERO legal powers.

they most certain wont have a signed agreement on either of those

whats the defaulted date in the debt summary?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

No, I did not know I had to send them a request, but Barclays confirmed it's been passed on to Links at the time.

I had no idea I needed to do anything,

i just continued making the agreed payments.

I can't see any defaulted date in the summary or anywhere in the report.

Is there anything I can do at the moment to remove it and also keep improving my credit rating?

they didn't pass the debts on - they sold the debt for <10p=£1, but ofcourse Link being the fleecers they are, are after you for the full amount owed to BC, not the discounted price they bought the debt for

you must of had a notice of assignment letters too.

to sell the debt, the Original Creditor normally defaults it too, else the debt buyer cannot litigate.

when were they sold to Link?

i'd be sending an SAR barclaycard

let get all the details from the horses mouth

then we can complain and get them removed as they should have been defaulted 3-6mts into your arrangement

and if thats the case that date is over 6yrs ago!!

Thanks a lot for your help with this, I will check how to send the SAR, I am sure there is a link here for what to do. Once I send it to Barclays and have the information from them, I will give you an update.
