Hello,

My trouble is, the car doesn't have MOT, was 3 cars away from the front of my house.

Have trade insurance and with my best knowledge had tax as well.

Dvla took the money off my account in 03rd February and 02nd March as well.

6th of March the car was taken away by council 8AM in the morning and

they said no tax, no mot,

1 tyre was flat and

they thought is an abandoned car

( why don't they call the police to ask about ownership who's sleeping 3 meters away, who's actually left believing that the tax paid)

When we woke up the car wasn't there,

they said they put a stickers on 2 hours before they tooked away ???

2 hours notice ??? 7-9am?

The enforcement agents said he has rights to do this, because the tyre was flat and the passenger side door was open,

(we take off the lead from battery not draining out).

I went to check the details in my garage app and it shows no tax since 1st of February.

How??? If they took it from my account???

I called dvla and they said, they cancelled my direct debit 28th of February and what they took on March,  I got back within 10 days.

No answer when I asked what was the reason for cancelling and also why don't emailed me?

He just said: you should put a new tax on it.

Ok but it is in the pound , i can get back for £170 on Friday,  next week which is tomorrow

they talked about some £500  ,

the car isn't wort even 500 but it has private number plate.

Even the guy who took it away should see it has a private plate...

so my question is,  what I can do in this situation?

I believed that the tax paid which has been paid, but they back dated me and forcing to pay this money out which i dont really have actually ,

I  don't wanna loose my car n the plate, that worth money not the car...

When did the licence expire? If it was due to be renewed on 1st March, and the MOT had expired, the licence would not be renewed and would explain the refund of the fee and subsequent removal.

Hiya, thanks for replying 🙃

The licence should expire in november this year,  i pay this tax for this car since 12/12/2017 and then once somewhere 2018 September

my friend wanted to buy the car, she took it and she paid the tax for that 2 months when she used it and then I taxed back when she changed her mind...

So there wasn't anything about expiring,  and if is happened,  the dvla still doesn't let me know about, like my other cars,

actually on my mazda the licence expired but I got an email from it and says if I don't want any change i should do nothing, so they renewed and paid continuously...
