Hi everyone

ive had a card in an envelope hand delivered today from Resolvecall asking me to contact them urgently.

i want to ignore it but I’m not sure that’s the best thing to do?

i had some issues some years ago which have now all been resolved to my knowledge. Anything that I may have overlooked will be way over 6 years, I now have a very healthy credit rating with nothing on any of my credit files.

I have no idea what these people want and this is the 1st contact.

can someone point me in the direction?

thanks

mike

nothing they can do

a DCA is not a bailiff

did you have any old debts that were sold to cabot?

resolvecall are currently chasing 1000's off old cabot debts.

theres always a chance some mug will pay them then its straight down the pub for him with the free money

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

you've been here 10yrs

won atleast 3 court cases

with those credentials i'd be foaming at the mouth wanting them to ring my bell so I could go out with my mobile in hand filming my triumphant bellow of "leave my property - do not ever return - else i'll be calling the police on 101"

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi, didn't want to start a new thread for this. My wife is in the same situation as OP. Today, I came home in the afternoon to find a card within a hand delivered envelope asking to call a mobile number with client reference and account numbers. She has no.idea what debt this may be.

Wrt filming with mobile, I've been thinking about getting CCTV installed (separate matter not to do with debt collectors) in the house. Would that suffice? Do I have to display some CCTV logo or the other for it to be admissible to police and court?
