Hi All,

I had a default from advanced payment solutions and I was told that the default notice was sent via email which I didn't receive so I am guessing it went into my junk box. I have tried to have it removed but was told that it was legally put onto my credit file.

My questions are:

1. Is there anyway that I can get this default removed?

2. If I pay of the debt which is around £30 will this improve my credit file and will that prolong the date that it will drop off of my account as it is due to drop off in two years.

Thanks in Advance for your help

In a word ...no you cant have it removed...you have defaulted. And making any payment will not improve it...the default remains for 6 years.

Regards

Andy

APS have placed a default on your credit file for £30?? How utterly childish!

Paying it off, won't improve your credit file at all, it will stay there for six years when it will auto drop off..

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
