Evening All....

Wondered if somebody could point me in the right direction?

Mum passed away last Thursday after a fighting Cancer :(

We've since found out that she has an account with ACE Catalogue and also a rolling subscription to a service via 24 Win - apparently 24 Win charge(d) my mum £12.95 a month to be entered into online competitions?!?

We contacted them and we're advised that mum was to wait for the postman to deliver her prize "if" she won!! No record of any wins or any other details!! They've been having £13 a month off her since 2007!! :-o

Im assuming the FOS would not be interested? or am I best going straight to Trading Standards?

Regards

the ace catalogue , if shes no assets then tough on them.

as for the 24 win thing.

is this a Direct debit?

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Yes it is... £12.95 per month out of her bank account via Direct Debit.

When speaking to them they had no REAL security checks in place and no history of any 'winnings' on my mums account history!
