  • 2 months later...

the court have now sent a letter giving a date for a Case Management Conference in July.

Is this where the judge will make a decision?

As I said way back in the messages,

my wife is 100% not going to attend anything at court.

Is she able to nominate me to attend in her place and will her non-attendance result in the court finding against her?

What happens if neither party turn up?

Thanks.

Thats when he will set directions and how the case will proceed.

If she is not willing to attend then you may as well ring them up and try to agree a settlement and hopefully try to avoid the CCJ by agreeing a Consent Order.

If neither party turn up then the claim could be possibly struck out or judgment awarded to the Claimant...although I doubt very much the claimant wont attend.

Best possible chance of any success is to attend.
