I recently had an offer of £700 as a full and final payment accepted by Barclaycard.

This was paid and I received a letter from them stating that the account was now settled.

Today I got a statement saying I had a balance of £541.38 and that includes £18.75 in interest.

What should I do? Should I just ignore it or call them?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Is the account with a DCA or direct with Barclaycard?

If it is with Barclays...

We could do with some help from you.

there in lies the problem.

Nver deal with them over the phone, deals can be denied.

You may have to do a full subject access request now, and ask for the recording of that phone call.

(May as well ask for everything else while your at it) to prove the offer

Hi Daley,

If you have a letter from BC confirming the a/c was settled, you should be fine.

Let us see the letter as a PDF with personal details removed thanks.

:-)
