If it was a possession, then foot in the door is fine, as its a warrant that gives forced entry right.

The court is routinely presented with cases like that accompanied by the required paperwork and writs of possession are then granted. There is more chance this is legit that iffy but that would be for the defendant to question.

The foot in the door would be a nono if it was a fifa etc.

I remember the programme, it was fi fa as they were enforcing unpaid wages/commission IIRC.

It's odd, as in nearly all of the other programmes that I've seen from the series (first & second), Paul Bohill comes across as a fairly reasonable bloke. Perhaps he was having a bad day? But if that'd been me, I'd have ripped his leg off and beat him with the soggy end. But then again, we've not seen what ended up on the cutting room floor, and he may have already gained 'peaceful entry' and then the debtor (perhaps) tried to throw him out.

Please note that my posts are my opinion only and should not be taken as any kind of legal advice.
In fact, they're probably just waffling and can be quite safely and completely ignored as you wish.

It was a writ of fifa, there was misrepresentation as a 'warrant', there was police style clothing, there was a foot in the door, there was forced entry, there was a debtor bundled in against a wall, there was a ridiculous dare to punch the enforcement officer, there was claims it was lawful and there was a piece to camera supporting the action.

About as bad as it gets in my opinion and all filmed on camera and still available for all to see.

In my opinion. this is more the actions of somebody who doesn't understand their job no matter what their claims of length of service.

Think you may find this is someone who thinks his new career is an extension of his old one.
